The picturesque surroundings make Whiteman Park ideal for birthday, engagement and life celebrations, as well as corporate events. The Village Café provides delicious catering packages for functions and events held at the park and also supplies catering services throughout Perth & Fremantle metropolitan areas. We have the facilities, resources and the experience to cater to a wide range of events. Our team is made up of passionate hospitality professionals who have been involved in catering for many years. HIRE FACILITIES At Whiteman Park we have 29 shelters for you to choose from to host your event in the park. Contact one of our friendly team to discuss which location will best suit your requirements. PICNIC SHELTERS We have 24 hard-top picnic shelters located throughout the Village and Mussel Pool. Each shelter has a tin roof, power supply and three picnic benches which seat eight people each. Barbeques are conveniently located near each of these shelters also. SHADE SHELTERS We also have four Shade Shelters located in the Village. These are smaller than the hard-top picnic shelters and suit groups of up to 30 people. The Shade Shelters have a shade-cloth roof, two picnic tables but no power supply. They are perfect for relaxed barbeque on a summer s day. THE PAVILION The Pavilion is a bricked building that is located in the heart of the Village. A semi-closed in building with a great outdoor feel, it suits groups of up to 60 people. The southern side has rollershutters that open onto the Village Mall which gives you a great view of the tram as it idles thru. The northern side has clear cafe blinds that open out onto the grassed area leading to the main playground and a double BBQ is located close-by. BBQ CATERING OPTIONS THREE EASY BARBEQUE OPTIONS 1. You do the cooking with one of our hire BBQs or one of the many BBQs throughout the park 2. We cook the food & deliver hot for $50.00 up to 100 guests (within Whiteman Park only) 3. Hire a staff member to cook the food on the BBQ in front of you at an hourly rate (minimum 3 hours) *Pre orders require min two days notice.
