Weddings at for the 2014-15 season The essence of Tasmania is found in the outstanding quality of its food and wine. At the Ninth Island Vineyard, seasonal food and the Kreglinger portfolio of wines are combined in an idyllic setting. Only 15 minutes from Launceston, Strathlynn is the perfect venue to celebrate your special occasion. Located in the Ninth Island Vineyard, on the banks of the Tamar River, the venue offers spectacular views and tranquil surrounds. The dedicated chefs seek the best local, seasonal and organic produce to create a regional menu of pure Tasmanian contemporary flavours. Venue Hire

Weddings Sole use of the restaurant for 6 hours $800 Ceremonies onsite strictly from 4.30pm Ceremony only Exclusive use of deck and grounds for a maximum of 1.5 hours from 2pm $500 Should beverages be required this will be charged on consumption (Licensing requires food to be served with alcohol) Canapés $10.00 per person Hire Fee Inclusions Consultation and planning with Stephanie over several meetings All preparations, which include any decorations as supplied by the client and further set up requirements for the event White table linen (including cloths and napkins) Setup of outside area (including deck, lawns and garden) Individual menus, welcome note and seating plan N.B. Any additional setup requirements outside of the standard setup may incur an additional fee. Recommendations Due to the unpredictability of the weather we highly recommend the use of a marquee if outside use is desired The in-house stereo is suitable for background music, however it is unsuitable for dancing due to volume restrictions. We therefore recommend the hiring of a speaker system/band/dj for the evening. Menu Options

Confirmation of the chosen menu is required two weeks prior to the function date. Any special dietary requirements may be easily catered for & children s meals are available at a cost of $30.00 per person, (under 12yrs) which includes main course & dessert. Two weeks prior notice is necessary for all requirements. We are able to accommodate the serving of extra beverages (e.g. Pimms) however the client will be charged for all ingredients used. We are unable to serve cocktails. Terms and Conditions Booking confirmation & Deposit

Strathlynn reserves the right to cancel any tentative booking not confirmed within 14 days. A non- refundable deposit of $750 will confirm the date of your function. This should be submitted along with signed contract which states you have understood terms and conditions. We accept cheques, cash, Eftpos and credit cards including Visa, MasterCard and Bankcard. Amex incurs a 2% surcharge. Public holidays and Sundays will incur a surcharge of an additional $1500 Cancellation Fee Inside of 90 days from the confirmed booking date, a fee of 100% of the anticipated revenue will be charged. Outside of 90 days all deposits will be forfeited in the event of cancellation. Final Numbers We require confirmation of exact numbers and balance of payment no later than 7 days prior to your function. This will be the minimum number of meals for which you will be charged, regardless of reduced numbers on the day. Menu choices and seating plan are required 14 days prior to the date. Licensed Premises Strathlynn is a fully licensed venue. This means that Responsible Service of Alcohol standards apply at all times, and all functions are subject to license restrictions. The bar will close at 11.15pm. All music and entertainment must cease at this time with all guest to have departed by 11.30pm. Additional room hire will incur a fee of $200 for every 30 minutes for which your guests have not departed the scheduled finish time. Strictly no BYO beverages permitted. A corkage charge of $25 for wine and $10 per beer will be required for any bottles found on site during or after your event. Damage or loss of goods Strathlynn does not accept any responsibility for the damage or loss of goods left on the premises before, during or after a function. The client is financially responsible for any damage sustained to property before, during or after the function by the client s guests or by outside contractors engaged by the client.. Function Confirmation Contract To confirm your booking please complete this form and return together with a deposit of $800.00 Cheques can be made payable to Kreglinger Wine Estates.
