The Sandon School Newsletter 13 September 2018 Dear Parent/Carer OPEN EVENING Early Closure 1.40 pm - Thursday, 4 October 2018 As you will know, we are holding our annual Open Evening for next year s prospective Year 7 students on Thursday, 4 October 2018. To enable staff and students to prepare for the evening, the school will be closing early. Students will attend their normal morning lessons and lunch will be available as usual. The students will be dismissed following their afternoon registration at 1.40 pm. The school buses will run their usual routes at this time. Arrangements will be made for students who wish to remain at school until they are able to be collected at the usual time. A room at the front of the school will be made available for them to use to do homework or other study. Students wishing to use this room should inform their form tutor. Alternatively they may wish to help staff set up for the evening. May I remind you that the following day, Friday, 5 October 2018 is a non pupil day.
