Your Wedding at the Golden Lion Hotel Congratulations! At the Golden Lion Hotel, we are devoted to making sure your special day is one you will cherish for years to come. We will be there to guide you through every step of the way and can cater for intimate weddings in our recently refurbished Wallace Room right up to a grand fairy-tale wedding in our Regency Ballroom. Located right in the heart of Stirling, the Golden Lion has welcomed some of Scotland s greatest figures over the centuries. Today you can expect the contemporary décor combined with the traditional splendour. Our marble staircase, with its specially commissioned Burns artwork and quotations, provides a memorable backdrop for photographs, as does nearby Stirling Castle, the King s Knot gardens below the castle and the grounds of the Stirling University. We also hold a full Wedding License, so your special day can be hosted completely in the one place if you wish.

Booking Your Wedding Both your day and evening guests can enjoy an evening buffet as part of your wedding package. Option 1 Traditional Selection of Filled Sandwiches, Oven Baked Sausage Rolls, Bite Size Bruschetta, Marinated Chicken Drumsticks and Haggis Bonbons Option 2 Traditional Selection of Filled Sandwiches, Mini Scotch Pies and a Savoury Quiche Selection Option 3 Traditional Beef or Vegetarian Stovies Served with Crusty Bread and Scottish Oatcakes Option 4 Hot Filled Sausage, Bacon & Scrambled Egg Rolls Your evening buffet can be served with your wedding cake (if you d like) Tea and coffee can be added for a supplement of 1.50 per person

Booking Your Wedding If you haven t already been to visit, then just get in touch to arrange a personal tour of our wedding facilities and accommodation with our wedding coordinator. Once you ve had a chance to look around the Golden Lion Hotel and discuss your wedding requirements you can confirm your date with a 300.00 deposit. Six months before your wedding there would be a further payment of 1,000.00 with the remaining balance due 14 days before your big day including final numbers and your table plan. Making Changes Sometimes plans can change and we will do what we can to accommodate. We are happy to amend guest numbers within 30 days of your wedding just send this in writing. If numbers do drop, we wont charge more than the minimum numbers stated on your contract. If you cancel out with six months of your wedding, we are happy to refund any funds paid minus your initial deposit. If you cancel within six months there will be a 75% charge however we would normally do our best to find an alternative date if possible. Get in touch to find out more today.
