Originally established in the late 1970s as JA s Cafe, Bob and Carol Budish purchased it in 2002 and renamed it after the city of Glendale, hence The Glen Cafe. Having started as a waitress when she was only fifteen years old, it was a logical evolution for Carol, along with her husband Bob, to take over the business and make it distinctly their own. Bob served the community as a Glendale police officer until 2005 when he left the department to meet the growing demands of the restaurant. Together, their commitment and passion for good service and good food has kept patrons coming back for years. Since its inception, The Glen Café has become a popular meeting place, famous for breakfast, homemade soups and sandwiches. It has also become a destination for dinner, serving up ribs, pasta, chicken, steak and seafood. Thank you for your patronage and hope you will visit us again soon.
