Sales Policy: Customers can establish an account with approval of a credit application for Net 15 days. All orders will be shipped payment in advance until credit is established. Minimum Order: 12 pounds Shipping: During warmer months and in warm climates, an additional charge will be added for insulated packaging per case when needed at the discretion of the Giambri s Quality Sweets Shipping Department (weather permitting). Giambri's Quality Sweets is not responsible for any damages due to heat and/or carrier. Shipping or delivery charges are added to your invoice. Claims/Returns: No merchandise returns of any kind without authorization from a Customer Service Representative. This authorization must be obtained within 5 days of receipt. Do not adjust current invoice - a credit will be issued when the discrepancy is resolved. Lead Time: Please allow 3-5 business days for your order to leave our factory. This does not include shipping time. Candy cane and Easter egg orders should be placed 3 months before the holiday. Storage: F, 50-55% Humidity. Custom printed lids are also available at an additional charge. Custom Items: Some of our packaged items and bulk chocolate items can be customized with different assortments or toppings for an additional charge. Sustainability: Giambri's Quality Sweets has taken the initiative to operate in a more environmentally conscious way to keep our planet beautiful for generations to come. We have and will continue to take steps toward sustainability. Our factory uses the power generated by 108 solar on the roof to provide 40% of our energy usage. Each year, we recycle more than 2 tons of cardboard and paperwork, which can save an estimated 34 trees, 4 barrels of oil, 14,000 gallons of water, and 8,000 kwh of electricity - enough energy to power the average American home for 8 months. 8 The Giambri Story Giambri s Quality Sweets was founded in 1942 by James Giambri. Born and raised in Italy, James immigrated to the United States in While his brother opened a grocery store, James decided to go into the candy industry in James built his company on hard work and quality, crafting each piece of delicious candy by hand. From caramels and coconut to candy canes and chocolate straws, James s candy was an instant hit. James opened his factory and retail store in Philadelphia. The company was run with the help of his wife Mary and sister Giovanina until 1971 when James retired at the age of 74. The company was then handed down to his nephew Anthony Giambri, Sr., the second generation. Anthony relocated the company across the river and opened a small, temporary store front in Collingswood, NJ. In 1972, he purchased our current location in Clementon, NJ. Following in the family tradition, Anthony continued to make delicious, homemade candy with his wife Josephine and five sons, Anthony, Joe, Sal, Matt, and Dave. At one point in the late 70s, Giambri s had five retail locations in South Jersey. After a fire in 1979, the Clementon factory was rebuilt, adding a second story to accommodate increasing production. Tragically, Anthony passed away in 1980, leaving his wife and five sons to run the business. Today, Dave Giambri, the third generation, owns and operates Giambri s Quality Sweets with the help of his wife Patty, three children, Brielle, Sammi, and David, and a dedicated staff. Other family members also help when needed. In 1999, Giambri s began wholesaling its line of gourmet Belgian chocolate specialties including chocolate covered pretzels and caramel filled waffles. In 2001, a division was added to repackage bulk candies. In 2011, we installed solar panels at our factory to produce our candy with clean energy. Not much else has changed, however. Our superior candy is still made with James s original recipes, and the best, freshest ingredients. While we continually strive for innovation and development at Giambri s, a tradition of family and quality, as well as you, our customers, is what has led to our sweet success.
