2 Dear Client, I would like to introduce you to CJ Hummel s Restaurant, Bar & Gathering Place, aka Hummel s. This family owned and operated restaurant has been in business since 1948 when CJ & his wife, Evelyn, first opened their doors. Over the next 63 years, their small dance hall & snack bar has evolved into the restaurant, bar & catering facility that is now owned by their grandson, Danny and his wife, Janelle. Hummel s offers a great down-home atmosphere and a wonderful dining experience. With banquet facilities that seat up to 300 people, Hummel s is a great place for that special occasion. We also offer our grounds for a wonderful outdoor ceremony. Our experienced staff is eager to cater to your special needs, to ensure that your special day is all that it should be. Our cooks are ready to customize your menu to fit your occasion, while our friendly servers are ready to provide you with excellent service. 3 Now that you know a little bit about us, I would like to congratulate the two of you on your recent engagement. Planning a wedding can be very exciting but also very stressful. We would like to eliminate some of the stress for you by offering full service catering and an elegant room for a beautiful wedding reception, all within a reasonable cost. We have come up with a few wonderful wedding packages that will give you a memorable event. We also have many other menu selections & services for you to choose from to help customize your special day. I look forward to working with you in making this a day to remember. Policy 1. A $1000 deposit is required to hold the date; it is nonrefundable. 2. Four weeks before the event, a meeting outlining all details of the wedding and/or reception will take place. A nonrefundable 50% payment will be made at this time. 3. A finalized guest count is needed 2 weeks before the event. 4. Final payment is due the Wednesday prior to the event. 5. We reserve the right to increase the alcohol or food package price by no more than 5% from the stated per person price at the time of booking.
