1 New Discount Schedule as of July 1, 2011 In place of a minimum wholesale order, there now is a discount schedule based on the total amount purchased in a given month. Orders can be of any size and the invoiced amount will be based on the total amount ordered for that month. Prices can change on a monthly basis and have been increasing because of a high demand for corn and a steep increase in transportation costs. We have seen price increases in the range of 5 to 10% over the last two months. Orders placed before noon for in stock items will usually be delivered by the end of the next business day. 4 7/1/11 New Products Kraft Hot Cups lined with compostable Ingeo see page 7 These Kraft Hot Cups are brown paper on the outside with white paper on the inside. They are lined with Ingeo making them fully compostable. The white paper inside is Elemental Chlorine Free (ECF) which means they are bleached without elemental chlorine. The layers of paper add an insulating property to the cups. They are heat resistant up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Green print on the cups identify them as 100% compostable. Available in 8, 12, & 16-oz sizes. Compostable Lids sold separately. FSC certification of the paper used in these cups is in process. Room For Coffee Conserving Hot Cups see page 7 Room For Coffee Cups use an inverted volume indicator allowing customers to indicate how much room should be left for milk or cream. Instead of having to pour out coffee to make room for cream the customer need only say "May I have room for two?". The cup is filled only to the number 2, leaving room for two ounces of milk or cream. When using these cups coffee drinkers get a better cup of coffee, retailers stretch the value of the coffee bean, and we all benefit from a more efficient use of fresh water.
