5 KHALAS DATES Khalas dates are golden brown and characterized by delicate loose skin. Sweet and caramel-like in taste, they are perfect with Arabic coffee! Once crowned the Fruit of Kings, Madjool dates are bursting with a deep and delicious caramel flavor. Known as Royal Dates, Sokari dates are cone-shaped, with pronounced creases in their yellow skin, and firm, faintly resilient, mildly sweet flesh crystallized sugars give them a pleasantly crisp bite.
