3 Editorialcalendar in the Mix 2011 EDITORIAL CALENDAR Spring Issue The spring issue liquor theme and tasting is vodka. Unique and different vodkas including organics and flavors will be tasted. The wine theme is based on knowledge your servers have of your wine list and high seas selections. Mixologist team SWS. Summer Issue The summer liquor theme and tasting is gin. New, traditional and unique gins will be tasted. We will also be looking at seasonal summer cocktails to feature, all different spirits, wine cocktails and smoothies. The wine theme will be refreshing wines for your summer wine and BTG lists. Fall Issue The fall issue liquor theme will be Scotch Whiskies. Single malts and blends will be tasted. The wine theme will be lighter reds for the fall including Pinot Noir, Sangiovese, Barbera and similar type wines. Tales of the Cocktail will be re-capped, also the annual Holiday drink feature will be a large focus as usual. Winter Issue The winter issue liquor theme will be based on all kinds of cordials and after dinner spirits. We will be tasting new and traditional spirits from B&B to Sambuca, and will offer ways to serve them other than straight-up or on the rocks. Also a look at winter resorts from sun to snow and what they are serving.
