The owner-chef, Jeffrey Acol, creates French, Asian, and Hawaiian fusion dishes. His creations are filled with flavors from tamarind, lemongrass, papaya, lime, lychees, and other exotic fruits. Strongly recommended Dinner: 5:00 pm 10:00 pm, Nightly Alberto s on Fifth 868 Fifth Avenue South Alberto Varetto, former executive chef at Sale e Pepe restaurant at the Marco Beach Ocean Resort, has opened his own restaurant in Naples. The Frenchinfused Italian menu at the new Alberto s is getting stellar reviews. The restaurant features extensive raw bar selections, sushi and sashimi, and daily specials. Dinner: 4:00 pm 10:00 pm, Sunday thru Thursday 4:00 pm 11:00 pm, Friday and Saturday Fuse Global Cuisine 2500 Tamiami Trail North Chef-owner Greg Scarlatos is bringing a new level of fine dining to Naples. Enjoy a fresh, seasonal menu in this relaxed, contemporary setting. 5:00 pm 10:00 pm, Nightly Kitchen Tamiami Trail North Kitchen 41 uses the Sous Vide method of cooking which immerses vacuum-sealed food in water for a precise, consistent temperature and time. This method allows food to retain more of its nutrients. The menu tilts to Italian dishes through the appetizer and pasta courses, and the seafood and meat entrees have some interesting flavor combinations. The dining room is small and cozy. As an entrée, try a trio of tacos or one of the flavorful beef, pork, or chicken dishes. The restaurant s private dining room can accommodate up to fifty and has a beautiful view of Venetian Bay. Many successful restaurants have this winning arrangement. Expect fresh, simply delicious food prepared to order. The dining room is industrial chic and can be noisy when busy. Recommended 5:00 pm 9:00 pm, Nightly Roy s 475 Bayfront Place Consistently very good sums up the review for Roy s. The Naples location offers some of the standard Roy s creations as well as specials by the local chef. Dinner: 5:00 pm 10:00 pm, Monday thru Saturday 5:00 pm 9:00 pm, Sunday 7th Avenue Social 849 7th Avenue South Listed as one of the Best New Restaurants by Gulfshore Life in its January 2016 issue, 7th Avenue Social is a lively, trendy dining venue. The restaurant seeks out local farmers and suppliers for fresh produce, seafood, and meats to create Chicken & Waffles, Chorizo Meatloaf Cuban Sandwich, Seared Beef Tips and Pappardelle, and Shrimp and Grits. 11 The Bay House 799 Walkerbilt Road Old Florida and southern hospitality rolled into one casually elegant restaurant sitting on the banks of the Cocohatchee River. The Bay House showcases the wildlife along the river. The menu showcases local seafood, steaks, and chops. Private rooms are available for groups. Dinner: 5:00 pm 10:00 pm, Nightly Sunday Brunch: 10:30 am 2:00 pm The Capital Grille 9005 Mercato Drive Even though there seems to be a Capital Grille in every resort town, the high quality of their dry-aged steaks and seafood has been maintained. The wait-staff are capable and knowledgeable. If steak is your interest, you will find a good one at Capital Grille. Want a private cabana? Done. How about a secret garden? Done. Steakhouses usually scream masculine. This one shouts tropical. To have steak or not steak will be a tough decision. The restaurant is beachfront and serves dinner right on the beach. Enjoy a dinner of fresh seafood with sand between your toes and the sun setting over the Gulf.
