Curcuma (Hidden Ginger) robust soft green pleated leaves rising to about 4 feet in large clumps. Beautiful cones light green at the bottom and tipped in bright pink hide in the foliage. Leaves can be trimmed back to show off the cones. Hedychium coronarium (Butterfly ginger) clusters of snow-white wonderfully fragrant blossoms from mid-summer to frost on top of 4-6 ft canna-like stalks. Hippeastrum x Johnsonii (St. Joseph s Lily) Red trumpet shaped flower with white stripe down center of petals in clusters of 4-6 on two foot stems. Foliage has slight bronze tint and disappears after bloom. Blooms early spring Hymenocallis White spider lily Tropical Giant - Lush fountains of gracefully arching bright green sword shaped leaves. White blooms appear dependably by the 4 th of July. Iris Cemetery White Tough drought tolerant bearded iris, medium height with white blooms. Texas heirloom. Louisiana Iris purple, see picture above plant sacks. Society Garlic (Tulbaghia violacea) Akin to alliums, evergreen clumps with lavender-pink blossoms. Drought and cold tolerant.
