Trees that block, hide or give privacy are usually called screening trees. They are often evergreen, but can be deciduous. Not limited to conifers and hedging, screening may also take the form of pleached trees to form an aerial hedge or densely branching standards which allow design scope for underplanting with shrubs and perennials. Our list includes all these options, but please contact us for further advice as required. Photinia Red Robin is a very ornamental and economical screening option. Don t expect a spring show from this cousin of the classic garden favourite; Magnolia grandiflora is grown for its glossy, rich, evergreen foliage. Laurel (Prunus laurocerasus) is a classic fast-growing, shade tolerant screener which can be grown as a hedge, shrub, or single stemmed tree. Thank you for your interest in Majestic Trees. We are pleased to provide you with our current availability of trees. The trees detailed on the list are those we currently have in stock at our nursery. Numbers can and do change daily, so please call to confirm availability of particular stock. The heights and girths reflect actual heights and girths. Please be aware that there are some items that may not be available for planting immediately, if they are rooting out. These trees are indicated with an estimated date under the Available from column. You may purchase them now as many customers do to get the pick of the litter, but we will not deliver until they have rooted out. We do not provide pricing on line but are more than happy to provide a price list upon request or quote for specific stock. We do not have a minimum order value. In order to more efficiently provide you a quote, please have the following information to hand when you contact us: a) batch numbers of the trees in which you are interested b) if you would like the tree to be delivered, please provide the post code of the delivery address delivery charges are quoted per order, not per tree c) if you would like us to plant the tree(s), please provide pictures and detailed information about the access, including gate and doorway widths, wall heights, sharp corners, number of steps, and overhead obstacles such as guttering, arches, etc. A general overview of the planting area is also helpful. d) if you require advice on tree selection, please photographs of the area to be planted as well as a general overview of the site together with information on soil type if known, what you hope to achieve and any budgetary restrictions. We will then recommend appropriate trees. Detailed information and advice is available on other areas of the website.
