The Gunns have worked the land in Hawke s Bay for three generations. Denis Gunn cut his teeth on the family estate vineyards, and is now one of our highly respected winemakers. His focus is to craft the best of the wine classics, time and time again. From the beginning, it s been about heart and home at Gunn Estate, which is why the wines are so respected. There s a reason good things don t change. The unforgiving Hell s Gate vineyard in Marlborough was the birthplace for Wild South. The team had to reclaim the land from the wild, moving seemingly endless river rocks to make the vineyard accessible and productive. It worked. Wild South wines show all the energy and spirit of their birth. Fresh, lively and vibrant they re a pure reflection of the unique Marlborough region. Ti Point vineyard sits on a petite parcel of land on the Matakana Coast in the North Island. Winemaker, Tracy Haslam, with her mother and grandmother, cleared and prepared the small parcel of family land to plant the finest Bordeaux clones. The elegant wines, from handpicked parcels of grapes from Ti Point and selected growers, reflect the beauty of the site and the feminine touch of three generations of women wines that are sensuous, multi-layered and generous.
