1 WINE Vermentino I Fiori 2016 Pala (Sardegna) founded in 1918 and one of the finest in Sardinia. It s intensely flavoured, yet has subtle elegant flavours and a dry finish which goes well with shellfish Grillo 2016 Branciforti (Sicilia) a clean, citrus wine with a touch of hazelnuts. A well balanced wine, fullness on the palate and then a delicious vibrant finish Pinot Grigio Valdadige 2016 Santa Margherita (Trentino-Alto-Adige) straw yellow in colour with a clean, crisp fragrance with intense yet elegant hints of quince. Fresh, harmonious fruit set off by slight sweetness with a long finish full of delicate, tangy flavour. Orvieto Classico Secco 2016 Marchesi Antinori (Umbria) it has imposing structure and depth, as much in its aromas of mature fruit and spices. On the palate, the alcohol is sustained by the right degree of acidity Sauvignon Grave 2015 Antonutti (Friuli-Veneziz Giulia) luminous straw yellow in colour. The bouquet is true to the typical characteristic of the varietal. Vivacious in the mouth with a strong aromatic persistence Soave DOC 2015 Tamellini (Veneto) straw yellow colour, flowery and a fruity nose. This wine has a bright yellow colour with greenish tinges. A citrus, aromatic and very pleasant bouquet where grapefruit stands out. After pressing the dried grapes from which Amarone is made the wine is passed over the still warm mark of Amarone. A second alcoholic fermentation begins which increases the alcoholic content and the wine becomes richer in colour and bouquet Vino Nobile di Montepulciano 2014 La Braccesca Antinori (Toscana) intense and typical aromas of fruits, with a delicate hint of vanilla. Well structured and nicely balanced on the palate Merlot 2013 Tenuta Roveglia (Lombardia) 100% merlot grapes aged in large wooden barrels. In the nose forestry, wild black berries, fine and soft acid, medium with velvety tannins Brunello di Montalcino 2012 Banfi (Toscana) a fantastic vintage which is showing superbly well, very classic rich fruit flavours with subtle undertones of ceder and spice Barolo 2012 Marchesi di Barolo (Piemonte) one of the most prestigious wines in the world. The Nebbiolo grapes gives the wine great body, character and a rich, majestic style Amorone della Vapolicella Classico 2012 Masi (Veneto) a blend of corvine and moinara grapes. Aged for a minimum of 3 years, the result is a rich bouquet, full bodied with very deep fruit flavours Sito Moresco 2014 Angelo Gaja (Piemonte) Nebbiolo, Barbera and Merlot. 3 CAMPANIA WINES It gives me great pleasure to introduce these Campania wines to the list as the wineries and vineyards are from my hometown. The Campania region, devoted to viticulture and wine making since Greek and Roman times. The wineries produce exclusively an unlimited amount of wines from the ancient grape varieties of Greek and Latin heritage. ANTICA HIRPINIA Coda di Volpe % Coda di Volpe, straw yellow with hints of pineapple, white peach and a typical liquorice aroma. A well-structured and balanced wine Falanghina % Falanghina variety. Fresh and fruity, with persistent notes of citrus fruit. A very well-balanced wine with a complex and individual character Greco di Tufo DOCG % Greco with a prominent peach, apricot bouquet. A palette noted for its smoothness and almond flavoured finish Fiano di Avellino DOCG 2016 fiano grape with aromas of pear, pineapple, acacia, nuts, honey and spring flowers. Excellent acidity, fine smoothness and hints of almond in the finish Irpinia Rosato (Rose) 2016 this rose keeps the overall fruit of the Aglianico grape, with its bouquet of small red fruits, meanwhile with the same of a white Fiano di Avellino Radici Vintage Magnum Aglianico 2013 deep ruby red colour, with hints of amarena and wild blackberry. Soft and elegant on the palate Taurasi DOCG 2010 from the Aglianico grape. Full bodied with musky berry flowers and firm tannins. Even when grown in hot climates, Aglianico is capable of reaching high levels of acidity MASTROBERARDINO Taurasi Radici 2012 from the Aglianico grape. Strong personality with a dense structure and Aromatic concentration. Full-bodied, elegant wine with peppery finish Taurasi Radici Riserva 2007 Taurasi Radici Riserva 1998 Taurasi Radici Riserva Antonio 2008 Historia 2009 excellent year for this wine. It has the right balance of taste, colour and aroma from the grapes of Piedirosso with a hint of Aglianico. Full-bodied with the aromas of cherries, cocoa and forest fruits Villa dei Misteri % Piedirosso and 10% Sciascinoso, aged one year in barriques, it s bouquet is complex full and persistent. 5 NEW WORLD WINE Torrontes 2015 Bodega Norton (Argentina) greenish yellow in colour with tinges of gold. Very perfumed prevailing fruity and flowery aromas, such as white peach, roses and jasmine. Pleasant on the palate and well balanced. Chardonnay 2015 Cuvee Alexandra (Chile) intense fruit aromas of sweet citrus fruit, white flowers, fresh tropical fruits and sweet spices. Elegant and concentrated in the mouth with a creamy texture balanced by a crisp citrus edge Buitenverwachting Sauvignon Blanc 2015 Constantia (South Africa) a pale lemon-colour with a bouquet of figs with hints of gooseberries and green peppers. Dry and full-bodied with a long, lingering finish Malbec 2016 Bodega Norton (Argentina) deep red colour with violet highlights. Complex aroma of plums and mature black fruits, liquorice and black pepper. Firm, sweet and mature texture. Round wine, wide in the middle of the mouth, with a long and harmonious finish Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 Cuvee Alexandra (Chile) a ruby red with an intense and complex bouquet blackberries, blackcurrant and plums, mixed with spice and oak. Full-bodied wine which combines elegance and strength with spicy and sweet fruit characters on the finish Pinotage Merlot 2013 Middelvlei (South Africa) a supple, succulent wine with mulberry and cherry flavours and a fragrant cigar-box finish. Its fresh and supple Pouilly Fume` 2014 Le Bouchot a more complex and rounder wine. With subtle flavours and a very long finish Puligny-Montrachet 2015 Louis Latour neither overly fruity nor over oaked. They are extremely well balanced, emphasising the classic minerality of Puligny-Montrachet Cloitre des Capucins 2012 Antoine Moueix this classic St. Emillion Grand Cru is very elegant and features aromas of red berries, ripe cherries and toasted vanilla. The wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels Chateau Tour St. Bonnet 2011 Cru Bourgeois This wine is dark purple in colour with aromas of blackcurrant and raspberry. This delicious wine is ripe and juicy with soft tannins. It is a classic wine with a modern twist Chateauneuf du Pape 2011 Clefs des Papes deep red-ruby driven aromas of cassis, red currant mingle with smoke, spice and soft lush and ripe with enticing fruit and good balance
