For additional class dates, check Next Step Brewing Class Bethlehem: Saturday, January 28, 2pm This is your next step on the path to brewing greatness. We ll cover the different forms and varieties of malt, hops, and yeast and how to put them together to make great beer! $40 per person. Sour Power Brewing Class Montgomeryville: Sunday, January 15, 1pm Our sour beer specialist will guide you on how to produce your own sour masterpieces at home. Samples are included! All-Grain Brewing Class Montgomeryville: Saturday, March 25, 10am Bethlehem: Sunday, February 12, 11am So, you wanna brew like a pro? We can show you what you need to know! Ho ho ho. This in-depth class runs about 5 hours and includes lunch, yo. Beer Judging Study Sessions Become BJCP certified! Learn from Andy Hejl, a Grand Master Beer Judge. The March 20 exam is limited to 20 students; class performance will determine eligibility. Classes will be held on eight successive Tuesday nights in Montgomeryville, starting January 10. WiNE & ChEESE ClASSES Wine & Cheese Combo Class Montgomeryville: Friday, February 3, 6pm Join us for a live demonstration of mozzarella making and a hands-on personal winemaking session using one of our easy 1-gallon wine kits. Sample homemade goodies from our cheesemaker and a flight of wine from Stone & Key Cellars. Then go home with a gallon of fermenting wine (six varietals to choose from) and all the equipment and knowhow you ll need to recreate this magical evening over and over again! It s all included in the price $150 per person. For just $25 more, you can bring a friend! Making Great Wine from Kits Bethlehem and Montgomeryville: Saturday, January 21, 2pm Let us astonish you with how easy it is to make wine you ll be proud to share with family and friends! $50 per person. BEER EVENTS War of the Worts Saturday, February 18 Throw your hat (or beer) in the ring to compete for dozens of fantastic prizes in the biggest, baddest homebrew competition in the region! Both Keystone Homebrew locations will be accepting entries between January 14 and February 5. If you have any questions about the competition, attend one of the upcoming club meetings (everyone is welcome) or waroftheworts@keystonehops.com. Club Barrel Brew Championship: Judgment Day Saturday, April 1, 6pm This is an amazing event where homebrew clubs from all over the region come to present their barrel-aged beers for judgment in a friendly and savage competition in Montgomeryville. The winning club will be awarded $500 in Keystone Homebrew gift certificates, and you ll be awarded the opportunity to try all of the beers!
