1 Midlands Bar Services Offering a quality beverage service for weddings, functions & events Introduction Midlands Bar Services is operated by Sean Wakeford and Russel Lloyd of Bierfassl Restaurant and Pub in Nottingham Road, offering a quality beverage service for your special day, according to your requirements. What we offer We offer a drinks service from the bar counter situated in the wedding venue.we stock a selection of popular brands. Please inform us of any special brand requirements or of any brands that you expect to be particularly popular so that we can ensure an adequate supply. We can also set up welcome drinks outdoors. We provide all your wine and champagne requirements as well as table glassware at no additional charge, if required. We will meet any other requirements you may have. Our service ends at the cut-off time that you have arranged with the venue. No beverages from other sources may be brought to the venue without prior arrangements, and guests are not permitted to bring their own beverages to the function venue, its grounds or the parking area. Options and Costs There are a number of options available to you on how we operate the bar: Full Open Bar (No set-up fee) The guest s drinks are for your account. This normally begins when the bride and groom enter the reception, and closes when they leave. Open Bar With A Limit (Set-up fee of per guest if the limit reached is less than R100 per guest) Guest s drinks are for your account until it reaches a maximum limit and then becomes a cash bar Limited Open Bar (Set-up fee of per guest if the limit reached is less than R100 per guest)

2 You choose certain drinks for your account and the excluded drinks are charged to guests. Cash Bar (A set-up fee of R30 per guest applies) We sell drinks to the guests for cash. You may run an account for yourselves and certain guests and family members. You may wish to give these guests something that allows us to identify them to prevent abuse of the account. Bank card and Zapper facilities are provided for guests. Rather than charge a deposit, we kindly request that invoices be settled within three days after the wedding. Please make arrangements for this if you are going to be on honeymoon. Welcome Drinks You may wish to provide your guests with refreshments before the reception while the bride and groom are having photos taken. On Tap pallets Our rustic draught bar made from recycled The range of local craft beers from Nottingham Road Brewery, craft Berry Cider from Clarens and craft gin & tonic can be arranged in 30 litre kegs (Approx 90 glasses of beer or cider, 100 glasses of gin & tonic) This may be served outdoors and then moved inside until depleted.

4 Barrel of Sherry Sedgwick s Old Brown, served from a barrel, at R100 per litre (20 glasses) Barrel of Wine We have a mini wine barrel available, from which we pour wine by the glass. It is filled from bottles of wine, so you only pay for what is consumed. A chocolate pinotage is recommended, at R30 per glass. Photos Hamper We offer a drinks basket for the bride and groom to take with them when they go off to have their photos taken. Please order what you would like packed, and we will have it ready for the Best Man to collect. A R400 charge will be levied for the non-return of the hamper. Glassware We provide all your glassware requirements at no additional charge. We also place a wine and champagne glass at each table setting. We understand that accidents do happen, so we will cover the costs of 12 broken or missing glasses. Any additional broken or missing glassware costs will be added to your invoice. We will take utmost care that this is kept to a minimum. Champagne You may select a sparkling wine, Methode Cap Classique or French champagne to toast during the speeches. We will place a bottle in a free-standing silver ice bucket at each table. A 750ml bottle per table of ten guests is normally adequate. Non alcohol sparkling wines are also available. Please see our wine list below for suggestions. Table glassware and ice buckets are included in our champagne prices.

5 Table Wine These may be placed on the tables, or kept on display behind the bar and handed out on request. Please choose which wines you would like. See our wine list below for suggestions. We will gladly provide a quotation on other wines that are not listed. Table glassware is included in our wine prices. If you would like to supply your own wine or champagne, a charge of R55 per bottle will apply. This includes glassware and ice bucket stands. Water We offer an infused water tower, topped up with our own natural spring water. Price: R150. We also offer bottled water with your own personalised label if you supply us with the artwork one month prior to your wedding. Price per bottle of water, with label, in batches of 25: 330ml: R10 500ml: R14 Booking We will make a provisional booking for your wedding date and provide a quotation on your requirements. In order to confirm the booking, please complete the service contract below and return it to us. We will sign it and return it to you.
