1 Large Trees for Landscapes 30' and over This information will be useful when selecting a tree for the landscape where there is plenty of room for upward growth. All of these trees should perform well in the Southern California climate with moderate care. As a guideline, these larger trees will be more in proportion with a 2-story or larger structure.
