Schmidt and the Liquor License Review Board met on January 26, 2015 to review a new Class B-1 & J Liquor License Application submitted by Ranalli s Park Ridge, LLC. d/b/a Holt s ( Holt s ) located at 43 South Prospect Avenue. Liquor Control Commissioner David F. Schmidt approved the Board s 4-0 recommendation to issue said liquor license upon receipt of all licensing requirements from Holt s. The application was received and approved during the time that the former Liquor Code was in effect. The owner of Holt s asked that the City hold its application until time drew closer to its opening. Acting Mayor and Local Liquor Control Commissioner Martin C. Maloney and the Liquor License Review Board met on July 13, 2015 to review a new Class R Liquor License Application (with banquet, outdoor seating, and bar/lounge endorsements) submitted by The Pick Restaurant LLC ( The Pick Restaurant ) located at 1 South Prospect Avenue. Liquor Control Commissioner Martin C. Maloney approved the Board s 4-0 recommendation to issue said license upon receipt of all licensing requirements from The Pick Restaurant. Recommendation: Approve Resolution allowing for the issuance of a Class R Liquor License for The Pick Restaurant LLC d/b/a/ The Pick Restaurant located at 1 South Northwest Highway; and, a Class B-1 with live entertainment and a Class J Outdoor Café for Ranalli s Park Ridge LLC d/b/a Holt s located at 43 South Prospect Avenue, Park Ridge, Illinois Attachments: Liquor Applications Resolution Rev 03/01/2013
2 2015 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF ADDITIONAL LIQUOR LICENCES WHEREAS, the late Mayor and Local Liquor Control Commissioner David F. Schmidt and the Liquor License Review Board met on January 26, 2015 to review a new Class B-1 & J Liquor License Application submitted by Ranalli s Park Ridge, LLC. d/b/a Holt s ( Holt s ) located at 43 South Prospect Avenue; and WHEREAS, Liquor Control Commissioner David F. Schmidt approved the Board s 4-0 recommendation to issue said liquor license upon receipt of all licensing requirements from Holt s; and WHEREAS, Acting Mayor and Local Liquor Control Commissioner Martin C. Maloney and the Liquor License Review Board met on July 13, 2015 to review a new Class R Liquor License Application (with banquet, outdoor seating, and bar/lounge endorsements) submitted by The Pick Restaurant LLC ( The Pick Restaurant ) located at 1 South Prospect Avenue; and WHEREAS, Liquor Control Commissioner Martin C. Maloney approved the Board s 4-0 recommendation to issue said license upon receipt of all licensing requirements from The Pick Restaurant ; and WHEREAS, Sections and of the Park Ridge Municipal Code provide that liquor licenses may be issued by the Local Liquor Control Commissioner upon creation of such licenses by the City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Council has previously authorized forty-five (45) licenses and this resolution results in an increase in the number of liquor licenses to forty-eight (48). NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Acting Mayor and City Council of the City of Park Ridge, Cook-County, Illinois as follows: SECTION ONE: That Acting Mayor and Liquor Control Commissioner Martin C. Maloney is hereby authorized and directed to issue a Class R (with banquet, outdoor seating, and bar/lounge endorsements) Liquor License to The Pick Restaurant ; and _1
3 SECTION TWO: That Acting Mayor and Liquor Control Commissioner Martin C. Maloney is hereby authorized and directed to issue a B-1 (with live entertainment) and J (sidewalk café) Liquor License to Holt s.
