1 Saison, Farmhouse, Biere de Garde Weizen bam, Jolly pumpkin dexter, michigan Farmhouse Wheat Ale The fourth in our Bam Farmhouse series, and perhaps our most adventurous; a traditional farmhouse style hefeweizen. Weizen Bam seamlessly blends traditional German style hefeweizen yeast with our own local wild and sour cultures, for a melange of the most flavorful sort. Ruddy golden, with yeast driven esters of banana, spicy clove, and nutmeg all wrapped up with a generous dose of good-natured rapscallion delight. 4.5% ABV 2012 Vintage $17 / 750ml Biere d hougoumont, Brewery ommegang, cooperstown, new york Biere de Garde Brewed with traditional French ale yeast, eight malts, French Strisselspalt hops, and aged on white oak and hard maple wooden staves. A traditional Biere De Garde style, this malty French-style farmhouse ale is brewed to be aged. The name honors the Hougoumont farmstead at the pivotal center of the Waterloo battlefield. 7.3% ABV $26 / 750ml Le petit prince, jester king, Austin, texas Farmhouse Table Beer We re pleased to announce the release of our latest beer Le Petit Prince Farmhouse Table Beer. Le Petit Prince is a 2.9% ABV farmhouse table beer brewed with pilsner malt, two row malt, pale malt, pale malted wheat, a touch of Caramunich and acidulated malt, lots of Czech Saaz, East Kent Golding and/or other hops (depending on availability) and farmhouse yeast. This is a beer we ve been excited about for quite some time now, as we believe that it s a clear, simple expression of the delicate, delightful interplay between noble hops and farmhouse yeast. 2.9% ABV $10 / 750ml Mad meg, jester king, Austin, texas Farmhouse Provision Ale Provision Ale is a rough translation of the French term bière de provision, which was sometimes used to describe special beers that were suitable for extended storage and aging. Brewed from relatively simple, straightforward ingredients, Mad Meg is golden colored and quite strong, at over 9% ABV. Its palate intertwines delicate farmhouse esters with earthy, spicy hops and clean malt flavors. The name Mad Meg, refers to a peasant woman from Flemish folklore, also known as Dulle Griet or Dull Gret, who leads an army of women to pillage hell. She s famously depicted in Pieter Brueghel the Elder s 1562 painting by the same name. 9.6% ABV $17 / 750ml 1

It has a robust character but is beautiful & sophisticated with a full body & overtones of vanilla, dried cherry, stone fruit & cocoa. 5.5% ABV $9 / 12oz brux, sierra Nevada brewing co, chico, california Belgian Golden, Refermented with Brett What began as mutual admiration between Sierra Nevada s Grossman Family and Russian River s Cilurzos has grown and progressed into genuine friendship. Brux began as an idea and has grown into something altogether different: The liquid manifestation of change over time. Refermented in the bottle with Brettanomyces bruxellensis, Brux will change and develop over time. Part bourbon barreled The Serpent s Stout, and part brandy barreled The Angel s Share, this is our most anticipated release of the summer. 12% ABV $23 / 375ml Older viscosity, port brewing, san marcos, california American Strong Ale 100% Bourbon Barrel Aged Strong Ale. This is the oak aging beer which makes up the oak aged portion found in our Old Viscosity. This is aged in Heaven Hill Bourbon Barrels for 6 months. 12% ABV $23 / 375ml White oak, The bruery placentia, california 50% Ale 50% ale aged in Bourbon Barrels Early summer, this barrel aged wheat wine is coming out very nicely (12% ABV) White Oak is a blended beer-- 50% wheatwine aged in Bourbon barrels (we call it "White Oak Sap"), and 50% Mischief (our Golden Strong Ale). Vivid caramel, coconut and vanilla flavors blanketed in a crisp yet robust wheat ale, White Oak is an exercise of balance. 12% ABV $22 / 750ml 3

4 Angel s Share, the lost abbey, san marcos, california Brandy Barrel Aged Strong Ale Down in Kentucky & across the pond in Scotland, distiller who age their whiskeys for many years refer to the evaporation of the spirits from their barrels as The Angel s Share. Each batch spends no less than 6 months aging in the oak. 11.5% ABV 2011 Vintage $23 / 375ml bois, the bruery, placentia, california Bourbon Barrel Aged Anniversary Ale May is our anniversary month and we are excited to release Bois, our fifth anniversary ale this week! This beer is brewed in the English-style Old Ale tradition using our house Belgian yeast strain and then blended using the solera method, where a portion of each of our anniversary ales is saved in our barrels and blended in with the next year s production, providing more complexity and depth of character that comes with age. 15.5% ABV $35 / bomber Woodcut #7, odell brewing, ft. Collins, colorado Oak Aged Russian Imperial Stout Darkness has eclipsed the Woodcut Series for the 7th Offering. A Russian Imperial Stout. The thick and hearty brew boasts a rich chocolate malt flavor with a touch of roasted coffee character. The bold base is enhanced by hints of vanilla, toasted hazelnut and oak from the new barrels. Each Woodcut offering is a truly limited edition beer with a unique flavor that comes from select hops, fine malted barley, and aour brewers careful aging process. Enjoy. 12.5% ABV $25 / 750ml Southern charred, stone brewing, escondido, california American Strong Ale 2012 Double Bastard Ale aged in Bourbon Barrels Arrogant Bastard Ale s (really) big brother, this dark amber ale is brewed with a huge malt bill and a belligerent amount of hops. It s a heavy, bitter beast of a beer and absolutely not for the timid. 12.6% ABV $24 / 500ml 4

5 Anniversary XVII, firestone walker brewing, paso robles, california A Unique Blend As a finished beer, XVII is dark, rich and complex. The lead beers of the blend are Bravo, a lean and oak-forward imperial brown ale and Stickee Monkee, a huge brown sugar infused barley wine. These beers are beautiful on their own but together they bring rich molasses drenched oak flavors and cinnamon glazed almond aromas lifted by high alcohol. In the middle of the blend are our two favorite stouts, Parabola and Velvet Merkin, working in concert to provide a dusty cocoa mocha aroma and bitter dark chocolate flavors. Somehow together in this blend I am reminded of Bourbonsoaked chocolate chip cookie dough! Double DBA makes the blend again this year, bringing its signature vanilla-infused crème brulée flavor. Helldorado, our blonde barley wine, helps to bring balance with its honey notes and light leather nuances. Like last year, a dash of Wookey Jack made the cut bringing with it some fresh hop notes derived from bold Citra and Amarillo creating even more interesting complexity. All together I find XVII to be full of soft chocolate and warm spice perfectly balanced by toasted coconut, bourbon barrel notes and smooth creamy malt mellowness. The finished blend is unfiltered and unfined, so there will be a small amount of sediment in the bottom of the bottle. XVII is best enjoyed poured carefully into a half-filled brandy snifter or red wine glass. Allow it to warm to 55F to fully enjoy the pleasing and complex aromas. It takes a while, but as this beer sits and breathes in the glass, more rich chocolate and spice character is revealed as the ethereal spirit characters dissipate - so take your time. If you wait to open your bottle later, store it in a cool dark place. I suspect that this beer will age well and change favorably for years to come. It was an absolute pleasure in the making and I truly hope you enjoy our eighth oak-aged blend. The journey continues and it s just as fun and exciting now as it was back in Thank you so much for spending a little time with us! 13.3% ABV 30 IBUs $33 / bomber Uncle jacob s stout, avery brewing, boulder, colorado Imperial Stout Jacob Spears, our 6th Great Grand Uncle, is credited as the first distiller to label his whiskey "Bourbon." He built his distillery in Bourbon County, Kentucky in years before began brewing. While obviously a bit too late to produce Uncle Jacob s wash, we ve instead created something far more complex. In his honor, we present this robust, silky smooth, full-bodied and altogether extremely American rendition of an Imperial Stout aged for 6 months in the very finest bourbon barrels. This explains a lot about our penchant for big brews! It s in our blood! 6 Fano Natasha rocks America, Hoppin Frog, akron, ohio Chocolate Rye Imperial Stout In a collaboration with Fanø Brewery on Fano Island in Denmark, we created an Imperial Stout recipe to satisfy our own deepest desires. Brewing it on this picturesque summertime vacation island is how Natasha started, and of course we couldn t wait to brew it at Hoppin Frog! The result is Natasha Rocks America - a rich, hoppy Imperial Stout with the deep-roasted, smooth flavor of Chocolate Rye malt. And, Natasha is generously dry-hopped with the perfect mix of select American hops, adding a great hop character to this super-tasty Imperial Stout collaboration brew. 7.5% ABV $16 / bomber Batch 1000; bryeian, The bruery, placentia, california Cascadian Dark Rye Ale Congratulations to Brian Pramov & Bryan Keas of Denver, CO, for winning our Batch #1000 homebrew competition! Their intensely hoppy, dark rye ale caught the judges attention and was the unanimous choice for best in show. 7% ABV $14 / 750ml Speedway stout, alesmith, san diego, california Imperial Stout Jet Black, with an off-white head. Starts with a strong coffee and dark chocolate sensation, then fades to a multitude of toasty, roasty and caramel malt flavors. Clean and crisp, full-bodied. Warmth from the high alcohol content lightens up the feel. 12% ABV $18 / 750ml rugbrod, The bruery, placentia, california Julebryg-Style Dark Rye Ale Meaning "rye bread" in Danish, we took our inspiration for this beer from the Danes staple dark, whole-grain rye bread. Brewed with three types of rye malt, this robust brown ale showcases the earthy, spicy character of the grain, complemented by bready, nutty barley malts and a hint of roast. Loosely based on the Scandinavian Christmas beer or "Julebryg" tradition, this beer is perfect for the colder weather of winter, although it will be available year-round (because who doesn t love a dark beer now and again, regardless of weather?) And don t worry about the name, we can t pronounce it either! But we do have a video of us and a lot of others trying our best at it. 8% ABV 30 IBUs $14 / 750ml 6

7 Hoppy & Wicked Hoppy Dales pale ale, oskar blues brewing, Longmont, colorado American Pale Ale Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume. Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can? Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can't, where flavorless canned beers don't belong. And no matter where you drink Dale's Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do. Wonderful! 6.6% ABV 100 IBUs $3.50 / can wytchmaker, jester king, Austin, texas Farmhouse Rye India Pale Ale The cuprit behind the Salem Witch Trials was not demonic possession (which would have been kind of cool), but ergot infected rye. Wild yeast native to our land in the Texas Hill Country lend a sense of place to this earthy, floral farmhouse rye beer. Unviltered, unpasteurized, and 100% naturally conditioned. 7.3% ABV $15 / 750ml. Belgian: Golden, Quad, Dubbel, Tripel, Strong Ale Horny devil, alesmith, San diego, california Belgian Strong Ale Horny Devil is an authentic Belgian Style ale, from the Belgian candi sugar right down to the yeast, a Belgian strain from a Trappist monastery in Belgium. In addition to the malts, candi sugar and fresh hops, there is also a little added twist from coriander seeds, which impart a refreshing citrus flavor to an outstanding ale. 11% ABV $18 / 750ml 7

Unlike many impostor hard ciders on the market, it is easy to have more than one pint of Julian Hard Cider as we do not use concentrated apple Juice or additives which leave the drinker with a lingering sugary film and after-taste. Why is Julian Hard Cider the choice of true cider lovers? We have only one ingredient the freshest apples in the world! Our cider is lightly carbonated with tartness, acidity and a clean dry finish, enabling it to stand firmly on its own or compliment your favorite meal. 7.27% ABV $12 / bomber Pale ale, new planet, Boulder, colorado Gluten Free Pale Ale Formerly Off Grid Pale Ale is reminiscent of a classic American Pale Ale, offering bold hop character & rich caramel & grapefruit notes with a clean yet distinctly hoppy finish. 6% ABV $6 / 12oz tweason, dogfish head, Milton, delaware Gluten Free Pale Ale Tweason ale is a beer we brewed on the cusp of summer. It is a gluten-free sorghum based beer brewed with fresh strawberries from our friends at Fifer Orchards near Dover, Delaware. For the sorghum, we sourced a dark, sweet, syrup with notes of molasses and pit-fruit. We also used a a dark buckwheat honey with a beautiful hay-like, earthy-malty thing that we felt added the final touch to this Tweason ale recipe. 6% ABV $5 / 12oz kaliber, Guinness, Dublin, ireland Alcohol Free Lager $3 / 12oz. 8
