Father s Office is based on prohibition Americana in the 1920 s, when the consumption of alcohol was disallowed. Speakeasies became the place to be and underground bootleg liquor (and the debauchery that follows) thrived. We aim to give an authentic early-century Americana experience, with meticulous care paid to the small details. From our menu, to our decor, to our staff, we can ensure you ll never have an experience quite like the Father s Office experience. Please note: dependent on the area booked, guests will be required to order drinks at the bar

3 THE DINING ROOM Our dining room features a pressed metal ceiling, art deco inspired wall sconces and decanter lighting. The private use of the dining area allows your function to be truly unique and personal. The area is perfect for a sit down dinner with a capacity of 100 guests. We can also offer set menu options for more formal events. There is the alternative option to section off a smaller area for a more intimate function. Comfy booth seating in the dining room 31 32

4 THE BAR Our bar and drinking area over looks both Swanston Street and Little Lonsdale s State Library. Fitted with raw copper pipes mounted on the ceiling, this exclusive area includes booths, tables and couches. It features cinema chairs and tables lining the Swanston Street side of the bar. This area is a great space to catch up with friends for a casual drink, or celebrate any occasion with a smaller group. Comfortable booths are permanently fitted in our bar area for intimate functions. The main drinking area can be fitted with large couches for a relaxed function or the 33 space can be turned into a 34 dancefloor.

5 THE BALCONIES The spectacular view of the State Library from Little Lonsdale Street and the hustle and bustle of Swanston Street set up the perfect scene for a function of any kind. SWANSTON ST The exclusive use of the Swanston St side balcony ensures that your guests are fully accommodated for, with the entire area being roped off for your private use. LONSDALE ST Overlooking the State Library, the intimate seated balcony area allows a small party to enjoy a classic Melbourne view, no matter the weather. Ideal for groups that want to enjoy a casual birthday with a few friends, or a long lazy afternoon affair
