3 VILLAGE FUNCTIONS AT ROOKWOOD RESPECT, REFLECT & REMEMBER The Village Functions at Rockwood is a modern purpose built building, offering two perfect reception venues which, cater for all cultural special needs in a beautiful & peaceful setting just off memorial drive, providing a special space in which to celebrate the memory of a loved one. LOCATION & PARKING The Village Functions at Rookwood is located on Memorial Drive and has ample parking adjacent to the reception venues. We offer a range of menus for various times of day as well as cultural menus. We require menu selection 2 days before your function. Catering will only be provided for the numbers estimated. 10 TERMS AND CONDITONS BOOK YOUR RECEPTION Please contact us to book one of our reception rooms as soon as you confirm your funeral service time. A credit card payment will be required to confirm your booking which is your venue hire fee. Please refer to capacities for the fee. SELECT YOUR MENU Please refer to our menu selection and advise our event manager which menu you would like. We offer a range of menus for various times of day as well as cultural menus. SELECT YOUR ALCOHOL PACKAGE Please refer to our beverage options, which include buffet service, glasses, ice, and set-up. Book the number of estimated adults attending. Where numbers exceed your estimates we will be able to provide additional beverage. You will be charged based on the actual number of adults that attend. NUMBER OF GUESTS We require an estimate of numbers at the time of booking. Final estimated numbers to be provided 24 hours prior to your reception. PAYMENT Full payment is required at the time when you finalise your numbers which is required 24 hours prior to your function. Payment must be made using a credit card. 3% surcharge applies for American Express cards and 1.5% for Visa and MasterCard. We require a minimum of 30 guests for both reception rooms. Please refer to the room capacities for maximum numbers. SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS Vegetarian and gluten free guests will be catered for complimentary for all functions. For any other dietary requests please speak to our event manager. CANCELLATION If you cancel your function within 2 working days you will be charged the venue hire fee. If you cancel your function within 1 working day you will be charged the full amount. SETUP All functions include buffet service and setup with floral arrangements and quality white crockery. The food and beverages are self-served from the buffet tables. SERVICE Menu and beverage prices include self-service of food and beverages however staff are onsite to ensure that guests are well cared for, replenishment happens when required and the room is kept clean and tidy. DURATION All functions are for 1.5-hour duration. We allow 30 minutes in between functions to ensure that guests have plenty of time to leave and arrive without confusion. SURCHARGES Surcharges are applicable for Sundays and public holidays; the following charges apply: Sunday 10% Public Holiday 20% VILLAGE FUNCTIONS AT ROOKWOOD The Rookwood Cemetery Function Centre was purpose built and completed in 2016 offering two beautiful air-conditioned rooms which open onto outdoor verandas and beautifully maintained gardens.
