1 WHAT: Day of game staff Open Casting Call WHEN: Tuesday, April 19th 4:00-7:00PM WHERE: AquaSox Front Office (3802 Broadway) WHO: Anyone 16+ years old by June 5 th, 2016 WHY: Because it s a summer job in baseball! The open casting call is mandatory for seasonal employment consideration with the Everett AquaSox. APPLICATIONS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED DURING THIS TIME *Please do no attempt to submit your application prior to April 19th The open casting call process will take less than 30 minutes. Please join us at a time of your convenience sometime between 4:00PM-7:00PM AquaSox Available Positions & Responsibilities Frog Squad- Must be high energy, personable, positive individuals who are willing to participate in outrageous activities on a regular basis. Entertainers will participate in dances such as the Chicken Dance and YMCA and will also participate in other on field promotions as they are conceived. The position is a major part of the AquaSox game experience. Ushers- Extremely outgoing, friendly personalities who greet fans, escort them to their seats; wipe down their seats. They will trouble shoot all fan related issues in the stands and make sure our fans are having a first class experience. Ushers are not paid to watch the game. Ushers are instrumental in getting fans into the action. Being attentive to the fans needs and watching out for foul balls are of the utmost importance. Ticket Office- Customer service oriented and quick thinkers. The position needs to have proficient understanding of the stadium seating, ticket prices, Will Call procedures, and will be trained on the AquaSox ticket software. Ticket office employees must be able to accurately handle money and perform other task that may come up throughout the game. Being comfortable working with computers and providing a high level of customer service a must. Ticket Takers- Greet all fans as they enter the stadium, so they must be outgoing and friendly. Each guest that enters the stadium must be greeted in a positive, outgoing and welcoming manner. Specific

2 responsibilities include taking/checking/scanning tickets, handing out giveaway items and promotional calendars, answering fan inquires and other duties as they arise. They will enforce the AquaSox policy of no outside food and beverages allowed into the stadium. Parking Attendants- Have various duties in the lot, ranging from flagging cars to open spots, overseeing intersections and other duties as they arise. These employees will have the first contact with AquaSox fans, so they must be approachable, friendly and willing to offer assistance. Workers will be responsible for accurately counting money and selling parking tickets. The ability to do basic math is a must. Fun Zone- Cast members working the Fun Zone (speed pitch and bounce houses) must be enthusiastic and approachable. They will be responsible for cash and must be proactive in getting fans to play and aware of fan safety. Souvenir Store- Must have retail experience and feel comfortable handling cash. Duties include assisting fans in the store, accurately completing gift shop transactions and taking inventory. The gift shop should be dusted and cleaned several times a game. Customer service is very important in the stands as well as the store. Hawkers should be loud and visible. Press Box- Pitch tracking. Must pay close attention to the game at all time, and record pitch by pitch results accurately. Bat Boy- Will work closely with on-field teams, umpires, and clubhouse personnel. General duties include keeping dugouts neat and clean before, during and after games. Additional duties include filling the requests of coaching staff/players, shagging home run balls after batting practice, retrieving bats, balls, helmets and other items during games. Clean Team- Maintain cleanliness of men s and women s restrooms, as well as keeping them stocked, circulate throughout the ballpark during the game, using a Disney Broom to sweep up items on the ground, respond quickly to a walkie-talkie call for clean-up, empty garbage cans as needed, clean up spills as needed, at the conclusion of each game, empty all garbage cans in the ballpark and place bags in the dumpster area. Grounds Crew- Aid in ballpark/grounds setup and maintenance under direction from Head Groundskeeper. Mascot- Good entertainer, enjoys being around children, arrive at the ballpark as the gates open, change into the mascot costume, and start entertaining guests as the game begins, AquaSox mascots do not speak, so there are a lot of hand gestures and other actions that are appropriate, both mascots will sign autographs and pose for pictures throughout the stadium, Mascots may take short breaks in the back of the team store. It is their responsibility to keep a radio in the break area so they can listen for certain promotional contests, they must be at the base gate at specified events, one mascot will leave after the last on-field promotion; the other mascot will stay until the end of the game, the successful mascot will also be available for appearances on non-game days.

3 Concessions: Beer Pourer- Must be at least 21 years old, prior pouring experience preferred, must have a valid Washington Food Worker Card, adhere to stadium policies concerning alcohol by checking ID, limiting each guest to two drinks per purchase and identifying individuals who are inebriated according to alcohol training. Training session is mandatory by the State of Washington, process food and beer orders in a fast and efficient, accurate manner, accurately count money and reconcile till, clean, replenish stock and inventory the stand at the end of the evening. Box Seat- Must be at least 18 years old in order to serve beer, outgoing and confident personality, prior serving experience preferred, become familiar with the ballpark seating sections, greet and take food & beverage orders from our Diamond Club Section guests. Work as a team with other servers to make sure all guests are served as quickly as possible, adhere to stadium policies concerning alcohol by checking ID, limiting each guest to two drinks per purchase and identifying individuals who are inebriated according to alcohol training. Training session is mandatory by the State of Washington, identify guests who have had too much to drink and alert a front office member of the situation. Let other box seat servers and the beer pourers in the concession stand know as well, process orders in an efficient manner and carry large amounts of food on their tray, must be able to make change in an accurate and efficient manner. Concession Runner- Must have a valid Washington Food Worker Card, aid in the preparation and set up of the concession stand before the game begins, assist one or two register hosts in the gathering of menu items so that the register hosts do not have to leave their register, assist with clean up and inventory procedures once the game ends. Concessions Cook- Must have a valid Washington Food Worker Card, aid in the preparation and set up of the concession stand before the game begins, prepare various food items in the concession stand: hot dogs, popcorn, nachos, coffee, pretzels, pizza, bread bowls, chili and chowder, deliver items to proper holding equipment: hot dog warmers or hot holding tables for chili and chowder, assist with clean up and inventory procedures once the game ends. Grill Cook- Must have a valid Washington Food Worker Card, prepare items to be cooked on the grill. Keep an accurate count using a tally sheet to ensure that enough food is being cooked to serve the group, while at the same time taking care not to waste food by preparing more than is needed, make sure that grilled items are cooked properly and adhere to the standards of the Health Department and the Everett AquaSox Baseball Club, clean the grill after each event, making sure there is enough propane for the next event and once the game ends, assist other co-workers in clean up and inventory procedures. Catering Staff- Must have a valid Washington Food Worker Card, take part in the setup of the Catering area before the gates open, welcome all guests in a friendly manner. Check to see that all guests have the appropriate wristband, take food order from each guest. Make sure that orders are processed correctly, replenish items when they run out, circulate through picnic as necessary, making sure that all guests are taken care of, clean, wipe down tables as guests leave and once the game ends, assist other co-workers in clean up and inventory procedures, assist other co-workers in setting up

4 tables and chairs depending on the number of guests who will be attending, prepare condiment carts and buffet line and at the end of the event, take down tables and chairs and put them away in their proper place. Pick up garbage and empty garbage cans. Register Host- Must have a valid Washington Food Worker Card, outgoing and confident personality, accurate with money and able to work well under pressure, aid in the preparation and set up of the concession stand before the game begins, greet guests with a smile and a friendly Hello, what can I get for you?, must be able to process food orders in a fast and efficient manner, process all cash transactions and give correct change to customers and work well as part of a team. Vendor- Must be outgoing, energetic, creative and willing to be loud and vocal, must have valid Washington Food Worker Card, sell programs on a rotating basis, sell food product to our guests in an entertaining manner while walking through the crowd, must be able to make change in an accurate and efficient manner and assist the vending lead with inventory and the cleaning of the vending room after the game.
