2 A ND A VIEW C F G R E 1 The History Since 1 Grandview Café has occupied the corner of West 3rd and Grandview Avenue, watching while Grandview Heights developed into the beautiful city we call home. Inspired by the rich history of the building, our hope was to restore while also preserving the integrity and character of this iconic neighborhood favorite. We are proud to be contributing to the story of the Grandview Café and look forward to many more years to come.

3 The Rooms Upstairs Library Nook (Max. Capacity 30) The Library Nook is located on the second level of Grandview Café. This space is perfect for showers, birthday parties and small celebrations.

4 The Rooms Full Upstairs (Max. Capacity 10) The full upstairs space includes two full service bars, a private bathroom for you and your guests, a large space with a versatile layout and access to the upstairs patio.

6 Private Event Packages (Minimum of Guests) Lite Appetizers Best for casual gatherings. Choose 3-4 menu items to provide your guests a lite snack. A food station will be set and attended to by our friendly staff including warming dishes, plates, utensils, napkins, condiments, etc. Heavy Appetizers Best for casual gatherings. Choose 4-6 menu items to provide for your guests. A food station will be set and attended to by our friendly staff including warming dishes, plates, utensils, napkins, condiments, etc. Full Stationed Meal Best for more casual events where you wish to provide your guests a full meal. A food station will be set and attended to by our friendly staff including warming dishes, plates, utensils, napkins, condiments, etc. Platted Dinner Best for formal gatherings. A predetermined coursed menu will be served to your guests. Priced per head. Bar Options Cash Bar: Any drink ordered is the responsibility of the guest. Limited Bar: This option includes Beer and Wine ONLY charged to the party s check. Any other drinks ordered is the responsibility of the guest. Open Bar: Any drink ordered should be charged to the party s check. Signature Drink: This chosen drink would be included on the complimentary drink list for your guests and would be charged to the party s check. A signature drink can be added to any bar option.

10 Event Policies & Notices Accessibility Our Main Private Event space is located on the second floor of the restaurant and is only reachable by stairs. As a result, our second floor is not handicap accessible. Banquet Event Agreement All Private Events must have a signed Banquet Event Agreement on file at the restaurant. Rooms, services and products will not be provided without a signed Agreement. Menu Choices and Guarantee To ensure the best possible food quality, we request that all Private Events adhere to the following menu guidelines. Groups of 0 guests or less may order off our regular menu. Groups greater than 0 guests must choose from one of our Event Packages. Groups over guests must provide their pre-ordered Event Package selections with exact counts weeks (10 business days) prior to event. All menu items must be finalized weeks (ten business days) prior to event. Guest Count Guarantee To ensure the best possible service, a guaranteed guest count is due weeks (10 business days) in advance of any event. If no guaranteed guest count is received by this time, Grandview Café will prepare for the original guest count on the Banquet Event Agreement. This guest count guarantee will serve as the final arrangements for your event and will be applied to your bill. Grandview Café cannot ensure additional seating should the actual guest count exceed the room capacity or the original guest count. Every attempt will be made to accommodate additional guests, however, it is possible a guest may not be seated. Service Fee A prearranged 18% will be charged on all food and beverages, any applicable fees and rental charges. Taxes Guests agree to pay any and all federal, state, municipal or other taxes imposed on or applicable to event. Guests, groups or organizations requesting exemption from applicable taxes are responsible for providing Grandview Cafe with a copy of the organization s tax exemption certificate; otherwise applicable taxes will be charged. Payments All charges must be paid in full at the conclusion of the event. Charges may be paid by American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, certified check or cash. To ensure the best possible service to all of our guests, we request one check per event on all private events. Grandview Café Gift Cards may not be used as payment on private events. Please contact Grandview Café s Private Event Manager with any questions. Cancellations In the place of a deposit, Grandview Café will hold the credit card information provided in the Banquet Event Agreement as a guarantee for this Private Event reservation. For events cancelled within 14 business days of the contracted date, 1% of the entire amount of the Banquet Event Agreement will be charged and placed on

11 Event Policies & Notices a Grandview Café gift card for your future use. For events cancelled within 7 business days of the contracted date, 30% of the entire amount of the Banquet Event Agreement will be charged and placed on a Grandview Café gift card for your future use. For events cancelled within 3 business days of the contracted date, 0% of the entire amount of the Banquet Event Agreement will be charged and placed on a Grandview Café gift card for your future use. For small events that are allowed to order off the regular brunch, lunch or dinner menus and not a banquet package, a flat $100 fee will be charged and placed on a Grandview Café gift card for your future use. In the event that the card on file cannot be charged, another form of payment must be provided within 4 hours. Alcoholic Beverages We practice the responsible service of alcohol and strictly adhere to all laws and regulations relating to the sales and service of alcoholic beverages, including sales to minors and intoxicated persons. In accordance with Ohio law, all alcoholic beverage sales will begin at 11am and conclude at 1:4am. Decorations & Displays All decorations and/or displays are welcome but subject to prior approval by management. Any damage caused to Grandview Cafe will be the responsibility of the guest. Audiovisual Grandview Cafe features state-of-the-art audiovisual and sound equipment. We can personalize your event with pictures on the flat screen TV s and we can easily play any playlist from Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, etc. Rentals Any equipment, tables, chairs, plate ware, glassware, silverware, etc... requested outside of Grandview Café s normal inventory, which have associated costs, will be the responsibility of the guest. Changes Food, beverages, vintages and prices subject to change without notice. Outside Food and Beverage Due to Ohio law, guests may not bring alcoholic beverages into the restaurant. Additionally, guests may not bring in any food or non-alcoholic beverages from outside sources (unless approved). Specialty birthday cake, wedding cakes or other treats are permitted with prior notice. Excused Non-Performance Neither party shall be responsible for failure to perform this contract if circumstances beyond their control, including, but not limited to; acts of God, fire, flood or explosion, strikes, labor disputes, inability to procure labor, shortage of commodities or supplies to be furnished by Grandview Cafe, governmental authority, or war in the United States make it illegal or impossible for Grandview Cafe to hold the event.
