It is the biggest and oldest wine making valley in Chile, and has recaptured experts attention and interest due to: its old Vineyards and being Chile s Carménère Birthplace. The results are naturally balanced and exciting varieties. Carménère, Malbec, Carignan varieties and other traditional varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc particularly stand out.
