Antonio Cacace, founder of la Bella Italia, dreamt to be able to offer some of the best Italian products to his children and to his new home country, so beginning in 1996 he started to import some of the finest Italian products into New Zealand. It was the beginning of a dream and an exciting Business venture. La Bella Italia is now a brand, synonymous with quality & trust. Many of its products come directly from regions of Italy where they are made. Antonio was the first to import Prosciutto di Parma, Parmigiano Reggiano, Felino, Bianco and other specialty products from Italy. What has made and continues to make La Bella Italia such a reliable brand is that Antonio hand selects and imports only authentic, quality Italian products. Founded in 1963 in Felino, the firm is now one of the leading producers of deli meats in Italy. La Felinese produces a complete range of deli meats in four production plants, all located in the province of Parma. There are three plants in Felino which produce cooked ham, Mortadella, Salame, Pancetta, Coppa, Culatello, and pre-sliced meats. There is another plant in Sala Baganza which produces Parma Ham P.D.O. These are all utterly unique products, and over time have become famous throughout Italy.
