K4 is helping to kick-off Grandparent s Day by visiting some special senior friends at Brookdale Assisted Living across the road on Charlie Hall Blvd! Should your child be blessed with grandparents or grand-friends nearby, they are cordially invited to our special Grandparent s Day activity on During this special event, the children and seniors will: Complete a fun craft together Enjoy a snack and light refreshments Create memories We recognize the value of young children having meaningful relationships with the elderly and know that seniors benefit from spending time with young children, also! We are convinced this special event will be meaningful to both. Once again, if your child is blessed with grandparents who are able to attend this special event, please pass this invitation along. We d love to have them join us! In an effort to enrich our classroom environments, we are asking EVERY child to bring in a family photo in an unbreakable picture frame. We will place these at the children s level throughout the room allowing them to enjoy them anytime!
