Seafood Selection Shark Bay s waters, islands and peninsulas have many exceptional natural features, including one of the largest & most diverse seagrass beds in the world. Pink snapper has long been associated with Shark Bay, and vast schools of pinkies can be found throughout the bay at times, but also tailor, school mackerel and black snapper are also prolific across the whole area. Shark bay is also famous for its blue swimmer crabs, with the 2016/2017 season being described by the locals as mind blowing.
