Ceremonies AT THE BRIGHTON HOTEL The View Room, with its stunning sea views, is licensed for civil ceremonies and can hold up to 40 guests. Available as an add-on to your main wedding event or if you want a more low-key and intimate affair. We offer The View Room for hire at 200 as an add-on if you hold your wedding breakfast or evening reception with us or 400 for a ceremony only event. Room hire rates are not including registrar fees which will need to be paid for directly with the registry office. Bespoke EVENTS & VENUE HIRE At The Brighton Hotel we recognise that it is your big day and we are available to discuss your own ideas to making your day special. You may be looking for a simple drinks and canapé reception or evening reception after your ceremony. Maybe you have your own special meal in mind for the wedding breakfast. Your wedding co-ordinator will be more than happy to discuss and price any bespoke event according to your wishes should you choose not to book one of our wedding packages. 2

We have included arrival drinks in our packages but give you the option to change to an alternative if you fancy something slightly different. THE Extra TOUCHES So, you have decided on package or no package, your arrival drinks and canapé choices and probably what you are both wearing on the big day but don t forget about the extra little things you can do to make your wedding day talked about for years to come. Photo booths, chocolate fountains and traditional sweet trolleys are all the rage but how about an ice cream van, a wedding day caricature artist, a group balloon release on the beach or even singing firemen? Whatever ideas you have for your perfect day we will delighted to discuss them with you, recommending how things will work and where things could be located. 15
THE Next STEP All you need to do now is contact the events office to check that your preferred date is available and place a provisional booking. We will hold that date for you for a maximum of 14 days to give you a chance to confirm the church or registrar. After 14 days we will require a non-refundable deposit of 500 for a packaged wedding or 20% of the estimated cost for a bespoke event. Once the deposit is paid the date is yours - you are now free to organise the save the date cards. This now leaves you to plan the day. Don t forget that your wedding co-ordinator is here to answer any queries you have between now and the big day. 16
Terms AND Conditions (Full terms and conditions will be issued with the formal contract) COMPLETION OF THE BOOKING We will provisionally hold your chosen date for 14 days. To confirm the date, we will require a 500 (packaged events) / 20% (bespoke events) non-refundable deposit and a signed contract. PAYMENT TERMS To guarantee the booking - 500 (packaged events) or 20% (bespoke events). At 6 months prior 50% of the total value should now have been paid. At 1 month prior, the final balance should now have been paid. NUMBERS Final numbers should be provided to The Brighton Hotel 1 month prior to the event. CANCELLATION We strongly recommend taking out dedicated wedding insurance to cover any charges that may be incurred in the unlikely event you are forced to cancel. Cancellations at The Brighton Hotel are charged as follows: Time of booking to 6 months - 500 / 20% 6 months to 1 month - 50% 1 month to the date - 100% 17
