Page10 HOTEL POLICIES AND PROCEDURES DEPOSIT A non-refundable deposit, method of payment and signed contract are required to secure space on a definite basis. Credit card, checks and cash are acceptable forms of payment. If choosing to pay by cash or check, a credit card must be on file for any last minute charges. All checks must be received two weeks prior to the event date. FINAL PAYMENT Final payment of estimated charges is due ten days prior to function date with a signed banquet event order. The method of payment provided for the deposit will be used for the estimated charges, unless another form of payment is provided. ATTENDEE COUNT To ensure the success of your event, the number of attendees must be provided fourteen days prior to function. The final attendee count is due three business days before your event. This number is your guarantee, if no guarantee is provided the most recent number of attendees will become the guarantee. Attendee count can increase up to 3 business days prior to function. Final charges will be based on the minimum guarantee, or the actual number of attendees served, whichever is greater. Any reduction 14 days prior to event will result in a food and beverage attrition fee. FOOD AND BEVERAGE No outside food and beverage, with the exception of wine, champagne and cakes will be permitted. All outside food and beverage brought in requires prior approval from the hotel. A corkage fee of $20 per bottle plus tax and gratuity will be assessed for every outside bottle served. A cake handling fee of $3 per person, plus tax and service charge, will be assessed for all outside cakes stored, cut and served by the hotel. DECORATIONS All decorations must meet the Los Angeles County Fire Department s regulations. Nothing is to be affixed to the walls or ceilings without prior approval from the hotel. MUSIC All music and live entertainment must end by 11:00 pm, and be approved by the hotel. WEATHER The hotel is not responsible for inclement weather during your event. You are responsible for securing an alternate space, either with the hotel or another venue. Events using outdoor space book at their own risk.
