INFORMATION & POLICIES GUARANTEE The hotel sales office must receive the exact number of attendees 72 hours prior to the event. This number will be considered the guarantee and cannot be lowered. If no guarantee is received, the expected figure provided to the hotel at contracting then becomes the guarantee number. FUNCTION SPACE Function space is assigned according to your anticipated attendance. If attendance increases or decreases the hotel reserves the right to reassign the function space to a suitable room size, based on availability. Additional set up fees are applied if changes are required upon arrival that are contrary to the approved set up arrangements on the Banquet Event Order. Fees will be applied and based on Meeting Room Rental Price up to $600. FOOD SERVICE The hotel must supply all food served on premises. In accordance to the California Health codes, any leftover food items will not be provided To-Go or allowed to be removed from the Banquet Event. In all meeting rooms there is a $250 penalty fee charged for any outside food & beverage consumed in the Meeting Room. SPECIAL CATERING NEEDS Our Events Department can make arrangements for special floral displays, entertainment, audio visual equipment and theme parties at an additional cost. Engineering charges may apply for special presentations & requirements of event at the property. LOST AND FOUND The hotel is not responsible for damage or loss of articles or merchandise left at the hotel prior to or following the event or items left unattended during the event. Items found by the hotel following an event completion will be held for 30 days. All costs associated with the return of a found item will be the claimant s responsibility. BILLING ARRANGEMENTS Billing arrangements must be made in accordance with the policies of the Hotel. The Hotel will not Direct Bill unless prior arrangements have been established. Deposits are considered nonrefundable and non-transferrable. SERVICE CHARGE AND TAX 22% Service Charge and State sales tax of 7.75% will be added to all products and services unless stated in writing that the price includes such taxes. California Law states that the service charge is subject to sales tax. Individuals are not tax exempt unless payments are made by a tax exempt organization and the completed tax exempt forms are presented at the time of payment.
