1 Thanksgiving Gathering Recipes Holiday Turkey 3 to 4 pound boneless turkey breast 1 envelope onion and herb soup mix 1 can (16 ounces) whole cranberry sauce (jellied cranberry sauce will not work) ¼ cup water Place turkey inside a greased 3 to 5 quart slow cooker. Combine all other ingredients and spread over top. Cover and cook on low heat 8 to 10 hours, or on high heat 3 to 4 hours. Makes 8 to 10 servings. Calhoun s Spinach 2 packages of chopped spinach 1 Medium onion finely chopped 1 Tablespoon butter 1 8 ounce package cream cheese ¾ to 1 cup parmesan cheese ½ to ¾ teaspoon cayenne pepper Cook spinach and drain. Sauté onion in butter until tender. Add cream cheese and stir until melted. Add spinach, parmesan cheese and pepper stir until well blended. Put in greased casserole dish. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
