3 The Chocolate Bar The Chocolate Bar is the shrine of Max Brenner s ethos of creating a new chocolate culture. Through the menu, rich interior design, chocolate pipes and spinners, the Chocolate Bar allows guests to see, smell, listen, taste & touch chocolate. The atmosphere inside will carry you away into the intimate, indulgent excitement of your own chocolate experience Signature Desserts Hot Chocolate: Pure liquid chocolate in your choice of milk, dark or white including the Italian with vanilla cream, Hazelnut or Peanut Butter. Served in our signature Hug Mug. Classic European Fondue: Two Chocolate Fondue Towers of melted chocolate in your choice of milk, dark or white. Served with bananas, strawberries, chocolate chunk cookies, marshmallows & fluffy chocolate sponge cake. Chocolate Crepe Pasta : Ribbons of dark chocolate crepes topped with melted milk chocolate, vanilla ice cream, caramelized hazelnut bits and Choco-pops that s served alongside a chunk of white chocolate to grate over the top. Banana Split Waffles: Two pearl sugar waffles with caramalized bananas, toffee sauce, sugar crispies and vanilla ice cream. Served with a flask of liquid chocolate ganache. 7 Behind thescenes Ayelet Tzur, Chief Financial Officer Ayelet Tzur, Chief Financial Officer of Max Brenner International, is a senior executive with more than 20 years of experience managing the financial operations and strategic experience for public and privately-owned companies. Prior to joining Max Brenner, Tzur spent six years at Strauss Group, where she most recently served as the CEO of the Chocolate Gift Sets Business Unit. In her role, she solidified the business by formulating a compressive strategy, improved cost structure by managing profitability, and developed marketing and operating foundations by implementing quality infrastructures. Her combined efforts helped steer significant processes and secured the consistent growth of the company. Tzur holds a B.A. in Accounting and Management from Israel s College of Management and an Executive M.B.A from Tel Aviv University. Jay Son, Director of Food & Beverage Jay Son oversees all menu development and innovation for Max Brenner. Prior to joining the company in Feb 2016, Son served as Executive Chef & Director of Operations for Simit & Smith where he created and identified the brand and concept for the company while managing 5 restaurants as well as setting up the first franchise opening in Washington DC. Before Simit and Smith he spent time at Sweetgreen as the food and beverage manager where he created and collaborated a new core menu as well as new recipes for seasonal specials and beverages with a large focus on local, seasonal, farm to table practices. He started his career in NYC with the international bakery and cafe Le Pain Quotidien where he expanded the restaurants organic and health presence to multiple different countries and cities. He is a graduate of the Institute of Culinary Education.
