SIGNATURES HARRY'S PERFECT STORMY - 8 Kraken Black Spiced Rum, fresh lime juice, ginger beer and a touch of honey served over ice in a jam jar glass. OUR SWEET MANHATTAN - 7 We stir a healthy serving of Maker s Mark Bourbon together with a splash of classic Cherry Heering Liqueur and maraschino cherry juice, then add it to a rocks glass coated with Pig s Nose Whisky. (If you prefer yours straight up and strong, then just ask us to leave the ice out). NEWSROOM S WHITE CHOC RUSSIAN Ketel One vodka, Mozart White Chocolate Liqueur and milk is briskly shaken then layered over Kahlua and chocolate bitters. Finished off with flamed chocolate powder. HICKORY SMOKED OLD FASHIONED - 9 Bulleit bourbon, Bulleit Rye whisky, old fashioned bitters and sugar slowly stirred then infused with hickory smoke. SMOKING RUM BURGUNDY - 9 Ron Zacapa rum, Cherry Marnier, maple syrup and chocolate bitters slowly stirred and infused with applewood flavoured smoke, then topped with apple juice. CHAMPAGNE COCKTAILS KIR ROYALE Crème de Cassis topped with Moet Imperial Champagne. FRENCH Tanqueray, lemon juice and sugar are shaken and poured into a flute glass, then topped with Moet Imperial Champagne. Served with a lemon twist. Affligem blonde is a surprisingly refreshing beer considering its 6.8% ABV strength. It is also one of only 22 official Abbey Ales. AFFLIGEM TRIPLE (BELGIUM) / 330ml bottle % - Ale / Affligem Triple offers a more complex and full-bodied flavor, leaving a hoppy finish with a spicy citrus bitterness. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle, which leaves a yeasty residue at the bottom of every bottle. ERDINGER WEISS (GERMANY) / 500ml bottle % White beer / The Premium Weissbier at the top of its class. Brewed with fine yeast after the Bavarian purity requirement. Probably the best known white beer in the world. MONTEITHS BOHEMIAN PILSNER (New Zealand) / 330ml % - Czech style Pilsner / An authentic Pilsner which challenges the perception of lager being light and mild. The Bohemian Pilsner has a complex hoppy character, slight bitterness to the taste, fresh herbal aroma and an explosive tang. MONTEITHS SUMMER ALE (New Zealand) / 300ml % - Blonde Beer / This refreshing bright golden beer's delicate spiciness adds a real flavoursome zest - balanced by a touch of local New Zealand Rata honey and four different malts. LOCAL BEERS INNIS & GUNN (EDINBURGH) / 330ml Bottle % Oak aged beer / For 30 days this honey-hued beer sleeps in hand selected oak barrels, locked inside a bonded warehouse, gradually assimilating the subtle flavours that reside in the wood. Barrels are then emptied and maturation continues for a further 47 days in a marrying tun where these natural flavours infuse and fall into perfect balance. WEST ST. MUNGO / 330ml bottle % - German Style Lager / Full-bodied but easy drinking, St. Mungos is brewed to the Bavarian purity standards at the West Brewery in Glasgow. This popular lager is a hybrid between a true Bavarian Helles and a northern German Pils. Naturally carbonated, its malty sweetness is contrasted by a subtle hop bitterness. WILLIAMS JOKER IPA / 500ml bottle % - India Pale Ale / Created from a complex layer of malts and blended hops, this is a well-balanced bitter/sweet IPA from the Williams Bros Brewery in Alloa. Golden in the glass, fruity on the nose with hints of cedar. Hoppy and very full of flavour. BLACK ISLE ORGANIC BLONDE (Scotland) / 500ml bottle % - Blonde Beer / Brewed in the Black Isle brewery in Inverness, this continental style blonde beer carries a hint of honey sweetness which balances the dry, crisp, refreshing palate and biscuity finish. The hops consist mainly of Organic New Zealand Hallertau hops for a grassy, Germanic aroma. Among the highest scorers for blonde beers with character. BLACK ISLE ORGANIC PORTER (Scotland) / 500ml % - Porter/Stout / Dry, full-bodied ruby black beer. The Black Isle Brewing Co. describe it going down your palate as a mythical monster sliding down a frozen loch masses of dark roasted malt which combine into a wonderful balance of bitterness with a light chocolate finish. BLENDED MONKEY SHOULDER A spectacular blend made from only 3 speyside single malts, Glenfiddich, Balvenie and Kininvie. It is crafted in small batches of just 27 casks which makes even more special. This is a very malty creamy w h i s k y with berry fruit and butterscotch notes. JOHNNY WALKER RED LABEL This is the entry level whisky for the Johnnie Walker range and is great with mixers or just on its own, It has notes of heather, barley and winter spices with a hint of smoke. JOHNNY WALKER BLACK LABEL The Black label is the only one in the range that has an age statement (12 Yrs) and as its blended this refers to the youngest malt in the blend. Its blended with around 40 different whiskies to produce its unique taste.
