I found inspiration for RAVNSÖ rug at the Nordic Museum in Stockholm. It s full of folkloristic textiles with colourful patterns and stripes. So I got the idea of creating a traditional rug with a modern twist. I started out by designing the stripes thick, thin and everything in between, to find the right proportions. That was our thinking when designing the FINSTILT series.
