3 TAZO ICED TEA CONCENTRATES This card will help you prepare Tea Concentrates in your operation. Made with real brewed tea, our Tazo Iced Tea Concentrates are designed to help you serve flavorfully refreshing Iced Tea Beverages, quickly and without the need for brewing or specialized dispensing equipment. Look below for preparation instructions, quality tips and the complete Tea Concentrate lineup. To prepare iced tea beverages by the cup, refer to recipes available online at solutions.starbucks.com. If using a 'We Proudly Serve' Grande cup to measure, pour concentrate to the word "Shots" on the back of the cup. Pour into the liter pitcher. Add cold water to the L line. Place lid on pitcher and mark your time. Store the pitcher at room temp on the back counter. Add oz. of cold water or juice. Stir well. Add ice. Serve immediately. To prepare iced tea beverages by the cup, refer to recipes available online at solutions.starbucks.com. Quality Tips Unopened tetras do not require frefrigeration Adding ice and other flavors to bulk quantities of iced tea concentrate will dilute the finished beverage and is NOT RECOMENDED Dispose of unused iced tea at the end of each service day. 6 TAZO BREWED ICED TEA FOR KEG DISPENSED PRODUCT CARD Manual Steeping Step by Step Steeping Filterbag of Tea: Place -gallon filterbag in a clean -gallon pitcher Add quart of hot filtered water and steep for minutes (Iced Green Tea minutes) Using tongs, squeeze filterbag to remove excess brewed tea and remove filterbag from the pitcher Add quarts of cold filtered water and stir Steeping or Filterbags of tea: Add gallon filterbags to Toddy Maker Using tongs, squeeze filterbag to remove excess brewed tea and remove filterbag from container and dispose in garbage Add proper amount of hot filtered water to Toddy using gallon pitcher Add proper amount of cold filtered water to the Toddy maker and stir Let tea steep for minutes ( minutes for Green Tea) 6 Prepare to fill keg dispensers with finished brewed tea Fill keg with brewed Tazo iced tea Mark kegs with hours shelf life starting from time keg is filled Put Tazo iced tea keg in refrigerated keg dispenser Note: If dedicated lines are not available for cold brew and iced tea (single head keg dispenser vs. dual), operators will need to make sure they re rinsing, cleaning and clearing out the lines in the keg after each use. This will ensure quality beverage experience. Follow the refrigerated dispenser operator manual for all operation and cleaning instructions.
