Morton & Bassett Vanilla Extract ½ cup chopped pecans In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In another bowl, whisk the eggs, pumpkin, buttermilk, canola oil and vanilla. Quickly whisk in the flour mix. Fold in the pecans and be sure not to overwork the batter. Spray large skillet with cooking spray. Heat skillet over medium-high heat. Use a ladle and pour batter onto your heated pan. When bubbles break through the pancakes, carefully flip them over and cook until brown on the other side. Serve with maple syrup and favorite fresh fruit. 5 4 Pecan Pie 3 large eggs 1/2 cup HT Sugar 3 Tbsp. HT Salted Butter, melted 1 cup dark corn syrup 1/4 tsp. Morton & Bassett Ground Ginger 1 tsp. Morton & Bassett Vanilla Extract 1/2 tsp. grated orange zest 11/2 cup HT Pecans 1 9 inch HT Pie Shell Pre-heat oven to 350. In a mixing bowl, add eggs, sugar, butter, corn syrup, cinnamon, vanilla extract and mix till well combined. Next, spread pecans in the pie shell. Pour the filling into the pecans in the pie shell. Bake for 50 minutes. Halfway through baking, cover only the edges of the pie with aluminum foil to prevent the crust from burning. The pie should not be overly wiggly when removed from the oven. If it shakes a lot, cover with foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until set. Once set, let pie cool. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
