2 Activ Healing Shake Guide How does your day begin? Breakfast is the most important meal of the day when it comes to the health of your brain and your body. The average breakfast consists of pastry like products full of that are full of processed ingredients, sugar and gluten -- making symptoms such as pain, fatigue and brain fog worse. When you consistently develop the habit of a morning shake you provide your body with all the healing nutrients needed to feel great. With the right combination of healthy fats, carbohydrates, protein and fiber not only is this a nutrient dense way to begin your day but also helps stabilize blood sugar fluctuations and keep you satisfied until lunch. And if you are busy and skip breakfast (or any other meal) you can use these shake recipes as meal replacement when pressed for time. Basic Activ Healing Shake (Chocolate!) (See website for resources) 1 serving of Active Healing Extra Fiber 8 ounces unsweetened coconut milk 1/2 cup frozen blueberries Handful of kale or spinach, optional but highly recommended! Place all ingredients in a blender and blend on high.

3 Basic Activ Healing Shake (Vanilla!) 1 serving Activ Healing All-In-One Vanilla Shake Mix (See website for resources) 1 serving of Active Healing Extra Fiber 8 ounces unsweetened coconut milk 1/2 cup frozen blueberries Handful of kale or spinach, optional but highly recommended! Place all ingredients in a blender and blend on high. Tips for creating the perfect shake: 1. Coconut milk is best or use almond, cashew, or hemp milk. 2. Use a quality protein powder free from GMO s, whey, casein, dairy, egg or soy. 3. Use only low glycemic fruit such as blueberries, blackberries and strawberries. 4. Throw in some greens! A handful of kale or spinach will do just fine! 5. Don t forget the extra fiber! Fiber keeps you full longer, heals the gut and helps to detoxify and clear toxins from the body. Studies show that people who eat more fiber tend to be leaner and are less likely to gain weight over time.

4 Strawberry Vanilla Shake 1 serving Activ Healing All-In-One Vanilla Shake Mix 8 ounces unsweetened coconut milk 1/2 cup of frozen strawberries Handful of spinach optional 1. Blend together all the ingredients until smooth. Chocolate Avocado Shake 8 ounces coconut or almond milk 1/2 cup frozen blackberries or blueberries 1/4 of a small avocado Handful of kale optional 1. Blend together all the ingredients until smooth. Cold water or ice cubes can be added to adjust desired thickness.

5 Mint Chip Shake 8 ounces coconut or almond milk 5-10 fresh mint or peppermint leaves or 5 drops peppermint extract 1-tablespoon raw cacao nibs 1. Blend together all the ingredients until smooth. 2. Top with additional cacao nibs and mint leaves. High Fiber Chocolate Shake 8 ounces coconut or almond milk 1-tablespoon raw cacao nibs 1/2 cup blueberries 2 teaspoons chia or flaxseeds 1 handful kale or spinach. 1. Blend together all the ingredients until smooth. Can ad extra water or frozen ice cubes if the shake is too thick.

6 Chocolate Cherry Shake 8 ounces coconut or almond milk 1 cup frozen cherries 1. Blend together all the ingredients until smooth. Vanilla Almond Espresso Shake 1 serving Activ Healing All-In-One Vanilla Shake Mix 8 ounces almond milk 1 shot of espresso or 1/4 cup strong coffee 1 tablespoon almond butter 3 drops almond extract 1. Blend together all the ingredients until smooth. 2. Thin with additional cold water or ice cubes if desired.

7 Green Tea Shake 1 serving Activ Healing All-In-One Vanilla Shake Mix 1/2 cup green tea 6 ounces coconut milk 1/2 cup frozen berries Handful of spinach or kale 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 teaspoon ground ginger (optional) 1. Blend together all the ingredients until smooth. 2. Thin with additional cold water or ice cubes if desired. Mexican Chocolate Smoothie 8 ounces coconut milk 2 teaspoons cacao powder 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg 1/2 cup frozen berries 1. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend on high.
