2 WARNINGS Do not apply later than 10 days before harvest of fruit crops, coffee and cucurbits Handle with care. Harmful if swallowing, inhaled and by skin contact. Toxic to bees and harmful to aquatic organisms and other animals. Store a cool place away from food and feedstuffs. Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons and animals. Re-entry: Do not enter treated area within 1 day after treatment unless wearing protective clothing. FLAMMABLE Do not store or handle near open flame. Although this remedy has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions the registration holder does not warrant that it will be efficacious under all conditions because the action and effect thereof may be affected by factors such as abnormal climatic and storage conditions quality of dilution water, compatibility with other substances not indicated on the label and the occurrence of resistance of the pest to the remedy concerned as well as by the method, time and accuracy of application. The registration holder furthermore does not accept responsibility for damage to crops, vegetation, the environment or harm to man or animal or for lack of performance of the remedy concerned due to failure of the user to follow the label instructions or to the occurrence of conditions which could not have been foreseen in terms of the registration. Consult the supplier in event of any uncertainty. PRECAUTIONS Do not inhale fumes or spray mist. Wear protective clothing (overall, rubber gloves and boots and face shield) when handling the concentrate and during application. After use and in case of accidental skin contact, wash thoroughly with soap and water. Do not eat, drink or smoke whilst mixing or applying or before washing hands and face and change of clothing. Wash contaminated clothing daily. Prevent drift of spray mist onto other crops, grazing, rivers, dams and areas not under treatment. Clean applicator after use and dispose of wash water where it will not contaminate crops, grazing, rivers or dams. Triple rinse empty containers in the following manner: Invert the empty container over the spray or mixing tank and allow to drain for at least 30 seconds after the flow has slowed down to a drip. Thereafter rinse the container three times with a volume of water equal to a minimum of 10 % of that of the container. Add the rinsings to the contents of the spray tank before destroying the container in the prescribed manner. Destroy empty container by perforation and flattening and never use for any other purpose. Prevent contamination of foods, feedstuffs, eating utensils and drinking water. DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Use only as directed. For effective fruit fly control, trees and especially the fruit must be thoroughly wetted with spray mixture. MANGOES Fruit fly CROP/PEST DOSAGE/10 l WATER REMARKS 10 ml Apply as two full cover sprays at 20 days and 10 days before harvest. Use a surfactant to improve spray coverage. Weevil 10 ml Apply as a cover spray directed at the fruit when egg laying has taken place late October to early November. Repeat after 14 days under heavy infestation pressure. Orchard sanitation is very important in the control of pests. Fallen, rotten fruit and seeds must be collected and destroyed. GUAVAS Fruit fly 10 ml Apply twice with the first application 4 weeks and the second 10 days prior to harvest. In areas with warm winter periods and where fruit fly activity occurs, all fruit should be picked and trees sprayed thoroughly after

3 CUCURBITS (cucumbers, gem squashes, pumpkins etc.) Pumpkin flies harvest. Follow up with a spray 3-4 week later. The addition of a wetting agent is advisable. 12 ml Apply as a full cover spray in a programme from flowering onwards at 2-3 week intervals. Ensure thorough wetting of the fruit. Aphids 10 ml Apply at the first sign of infestation. Repeat if necessary. APPLES, PEARS and PEACHES Bryobia mite 10 ml Apply as soon as infestation is noticed. Repeat if necessary. Do not use on Doyenne du Comice, Josephine de Malines and Kieffer pear cultivars. APPLES and PEARS Codling moth 5 ml Apply as a full cover spray. Commence application at 75 % petal fall. Repeat application every 2-3 weeks. Do not use on Doyenne du Comice, Josephine de Malines and Kieffer pear cultivars. STONE FRUIT (Apricots, peaches, plums) Fruit fly 7,5 ml Single application: Apply in areas where late infestations occur as a full cover spray 10 days before harvest. Double application: Apply as a full cover spray in areas where early infestations occur and where early maturing cultivars are present 28 days and again 10 days prior to harvest. NOTE: Do not apply to Pucelle de Malines peaches and Alpha apricots. COFFEE Antestia bug 7,5 ml Apply before peak flowering stage and repeat 14 days later. 4 WAARSKUWINGS Moet nie binne 10 dae van oes van vrugte, koffie en pampoengewasse toedien nie. Hanteer versigtig. Skadelik indien ingeneem of ingeasem word en deur aanraking met vel. Giftig vir bye en skadelik vir waterorganismes en ander diere. Berg in n koel plek weg van voedsel en voer. Hou buite die bereik van kinders, oningeligte persone en diere. Herbetreding: Moet nie behandelde area binne 1 dag na behandeling betree tensy beskermende klere gedra word nie. VLAMBAAR Moet nie naby oop vlam berg of hanteer nie. Alhoewel hierdie middel omvattend onder 'n groot verskeidenheid toestande getoets is, waarborg die registrasiehouer nie dat dit onder alle toestande doeltreffend sal wees nie aangesien die werking en effek daarvan beïnvloed kan word deur faktore soos abnormale klimaats- en bergingstoestande, kwaliteit van verdunningswater, verenigbaarheid met ander stowwe wat nie op die etiket aangedui is nie en die voorkoms van weerstand van die plaag teen die betrokke middel asook die metode, tyd en akkuraatheid van toediening. Verder aanvaar die registrasiehouer nie verantwoordelikheid vir skade aan gewasse, plantegroei, die omgewing of vir nadelige effek op mens of dier of vir gebrek aan prestasie van die betrokke middel as gevolg van die versuim van die gebruiker om etiketaanwysings na te kom of as gevolg van die ontstaan van toestande wat nie kragtens die registrasie voorsien kon word nie. Raadpleeg die verskaffer in die geval van enige onsekerheid. VOORSORGMAATREËLS Voorkom inaseming van dampe en spuitnewel. Dra beskermende klere (oorpak, rubberhandskoene en -stewels, gesigskerm) wanneer konsentraat hanteer word en gedurende bespuiting. Na gebruik en toevallige aanraking met vel, was deeglik met seep en water. Moet nie eet, drink of rook tydens vermenging of toediening of voordat hande en gesig gewas en ander klere aangetrek is nie. Was besoedelde klere daagliks. Voorkom wegdrywing van spuitnewel na ander gewasse, weiding, riviere, damme en gebiede nie onder behandeling nie. Maak toediener skoon na gebruik en raak van waswater ontslae waar dit nie gewasse, weiding, riviere en damme sal besoedel nie. Spoel leë houer driekeer uit as volg: Keer leë houer om oor die meng- of spuittenk en dreineer vir minstens 30 sekondes nadat vloei tot n drup verminder het. Spoel die houer daarna driekeer uit met n volume water gelykstaande aan n minimum van 10 % van die van die houer. Gooi die spoelwater by die inhoud van die spuittenk voordat die houer op die voorgeskrewe wyse vernietig word. Vernietig leë houer deur gate daarin te maak en plat te slaan en moet nie vir geen ander doel gebruik nie. Voorkom besoedeling van voedsel, voer, eetgerei en drinkwater. GEBRUIKSAANWYSINGS: Gebruik slegs soos aangedui. Vir effektiewe vrugtevliegbeheer moet bome en veral vrugte deeglik met die spuitmengsel benat word. GEWAS/PLAAG DOSIS/100 l WATER OPMERKINGS 10 ml Dien tweekeer as n volle dekbespuitings toe 20 dae en 10 dae voor oes. Die gebruik van n byvoegmiddel word aanbeveel vir beter bedekking. MANGO S Vrugtevlieë Snuitkewer 10 ml Dien toe as n dekbespuiting gerig op die vrugte na eierlegging plaasgevind het laat Oktober tot vroeg November. Herhaal 14 dae later in die geval van hoë infestasiedruk. Boordsanitasie is baie belangrik vir die beheer van hierdie plae. Vrugte wat

5 KOEJAWELS Vrugtevlieë PAMPOENGEWASSE (komkommers, skorsies, pampoene ens.) Pampoenvlieë afgeval het sowel as verrotte vrugte en saad moet versamel en vernietig word. 10 ml Dien twee bespuitings toe met die eerste 4 weke en die tweede 10 dae voor oes. In gebiede met warm periodes in die winter en waar vrugtevlieg aktief is, moet al die vrugte gepluk en die bome na oes deeglik gespuit word. Volg 3-4 weke later op met nog n bespuiting. Die gebruik van n benattingsmiddel word aanbeveel. 12 ml Dien toe as n volle dekbespuiting in n spuitprogram vanaf blom elke 2-3 weke. Die vrugte moet gedurende bespuitings deeglik benat word. Plantluise 10 ml Dien met die eerste teken van infestasie toe. Herhaal indien nodig. APPELS, PERE en PERSKES Bryobiamyt APPELS en PERE Kodlingmot 10 ml Dien toe sodra infestasie opgemerk word. Herhaal indien nodig. Moet nie op Doyenne du Comice, Josephine de Malines and Keiffer pere toedien nie. 5 ml Dien toe as n volle dekbespuiting. Begin spuit by 75 % blomblaarval. Herhaal bespuitings elke 2-3 weke. Moet nie op Doyenne du Comise, Josephine de Malines and Kieffer pere toedien nie. STEENVRUGTE (Appelkose, perskes, pruime) Vrugtevlieë 7,5 ml n Enkele bespuiting: In gebiede waar infestasies laat voorkom, dien toe as n volle dekbespuiting 10 dae voor oes. Twee bespuitings: Dien toe as n volle dekbespuiting 28 en 10 dae voor oes in gebiede waar vrugtevlieg vroeg en kultivars wat vroeg ryp word, voorkom. LET WEL: Moet nie op Pucelle de Malines perskes en Alpha appelkose toedien nie. KOFFIE Antestia-besie 7,5 ml Dien toe as n volle dekbespuiting voor hoof blomstadium en herhaal 14 dae later.
