Please inquire about our 2-n-1, 3-n-1 and 4-n-1's (two, three or four varieties on a single tree). ***APPLES*** *NORTHPOLE COLUMNAR APPLE Large, red-skinned McIntosh-type fruit is crisp, juicy and aromatic. Attractive, distinctive, narrow-growing (columnar) tree, grows to about ten feet. Trees topped for height control develop upright side limbs. Easily adapted to container growing. Est. chilling req. 800 hours. Pollenized by Scarlet Sentinel or other apple varieties. Zones 4-9. *SCARLET SENTINEL COLUMNAR APPLE Dense clusters of white blossoms followed by large, delicious, red-blushed, greenish-yellow fruit. Attractive, distinctive, narrow-growing (columnar) tree, grows to about ten feet. Trees topped for height control develop upright side limbs. 2 HONEYCRISP APPLE Winter hardy tree from the University of Minnesota. Fruit is crisp and juicy with an aromatic flavor. Stripped red over yellow color. Stores well. Ripens mid August. Pollenizer required: Gala, Granny Smith, Empire, McIntosh or Red Delicious. Zones 3 8. JONAGOLD APPLE Superb flavor, a cross between Jonathan and Golden Delicious. Yellow with redorange blush. Crisp, juicy, sub-acid, all-purpose hours. Pollenizer required: Fuji, Gala, Granny Smith or Red Delicious, but not Golden Delicious. Zones 4-9. JONATHAN APPLE (Double Red Jonathan) Heavy bearer, high quality when well grown. Cooks well. Medium to dark red. Crisp, juicy, moderately tart, flavorful. Aug. harvest. 700hrs. Self-fruitful. Zones 4 8. LIBERTY APPLE Disease resistant, cold hardy apple. Resists scab, rust, mildew and fire blight. Solid red even in hot climate. Crisp, rich sprightly flavor. Fresh or cooked. Early fall harvest. Interfruitful with Red Delicious, Empire, McIntosh. 800 hours. Self-fruitful. Zones 4-8. PINK LADY APPLE (Cripps Pink) Hot climate apple from Western Australia. Very crisp, sweet tart, distinct flavor, good keeper. Skin reddish pink over green when ripe. White flesh resists browning. Harvest begins late October, about three weeks after Fuji. Self-fruitful hours. Zones 6 9. RED DELICIOUS APPLE (Bisbee Spur) Sweet, crisp, flavorful, perhaps the best Red Delicious. Early fall harvest. Small, compact tree. Good pollenizer for most other apples. 700 hours. Pollenizer required: Liberty, Granny Smith, Golden Delicious, Fuji, or Gala. Zones 4-7. SPITZENBURG (ESOPUS) APPLE Old variety, regarded by some as the very best dessert apple. Red over yellow skin, yellowish flesh. Firm, juicy, moderately sweet, renowned flavor. Good keeper. 800 hrs. Pollenizer required: Akane, Braeburn, Empire, Fuji, Gala, Golden Delicious, Granny Smith, or Honeycrisp. (Not pollenized by Gravenstein.) Zones 4 8. SUNDOWNER APPLE Sister plant to the popular Pink Lady. Sweet, crispy, white flesh and excellent flavor. A late harvest variety ripening from October well into winter in most areas. Does well under extreme fruit growing conditions such as southern fruit growing districts and deserts with little or no damage to the fruit. Chill requirement of 200 to 300 hours with high chill adaptability. Self-fruitful. Zones 6-9. YELLOW NEWTON PIPPIN APPLE Yellow green, late, firm, crisp, slightly tart, superb flavor. Good keeper, cooking, excellent fresh or dried. For peak flavor and acid/sugar balance, wait to harvest until cheeks are blushed yellowish-green. Harvest late Oct/early Nov. Vigorous tree. 700 hours. Self-fruitful. Zones 5 8. YELLOW TRANSPARENT APPLE Long-time favorite cooking apple for very early summer (June to July). Crisp, juicy and flavorful, excellent for sauce and pies, also used fresh and for drying. Skin of fully ripe fruit is pale yellow, waxy, thin, and transparent. In hot summer climates especially, begin picking while fruit is still green and tart. Winter hardy, vigorous, dependable tree, bears very young. Most fruit is borne on short, heavily-spurred branches. Est. chilling requirement hours. Self-fruitful. Zones 2 7. ***APRICOTS*** AUTUMN GLO APRICOT Late season apricot with tremendous flavor. Ripens in the first two weeks of August. Fruit is medium sized with good color. One of the highest scoring apricot varieties to date at Dave Wilson Nursery fruit tastings. 500 hours or less. Self-fruitful. Zones 7-9. AUTUMN ROYAL APRICOT Late season, medium to large, oval shaped fruit. Yellow skin with pale orange flesh. Ripens in September. 400 hours. Self-fruitful. Zones 7-9. BLENHEIM (ROYAL) APRICOT All-purpose freestone, sweet, aromatic, flavorful, long-time No. 1 apricot in CA. Early bloom. Late June harvest. 400 hours or less. Self-fruitful. Zones 7 8.

3 BRITTANY GOLD APRICOT Large, firm fruit with sweet flavor, uniform yellow color and juicy freestone flesh. Tree is large and vigorous with a semi-upright habit. Very productive, reliable variety that usually requires thinning. Fruit holds well on the tree. Ripens July/August. 500 hrs. Self-fruitful. Zones 7-9. Zones 4-8 ***APRIUM (APRICOT-PLUM HYBRID) *** COT-N-CANDY APRIUM INTERSPECIFIC White flesh apricot-plum hybrid. Medium sized with incredible flavor, very sweet and juicy. Ripens early to mid-july. Self-fruitful. 400 hrs or less. Zones FLAVOR DELIGHT APRIUM INTERSPECIFIC Apricot-plum hybrid. Resembles an apricot with a distinctive flavor and texture. High taste-test scores, one of the most flavorful early season fruits. Early June Harvest. 300 hrs or less. Partially Self-fruitful, better pollenized by another apricot. Zones ***CHERRIES*** BaDa BING CHERRY Large, Bing-like cherry. Dark red skin, purplish-red flesh is firm & sweet. Best known as a Self-Fertile Bing. Resists cracking. BING CHERRY Large, firm, juicy, sweet, nearly black when ripe, superb flavor, the No. 1 cherry. Midseason. Large vigorous tree. 4 ENGLISH MORELLO SOUR CHERRY Late-ripening tart cherry for cooking. Dark red to nearly black fruit with dark juice. Small, round-headed tree with drooping branches (easy to harvest). 500 hours or less. Self-fruitful. June Harvest. Zones 4-9. LAMBERT CHERRY Large, black, late harvest. Highest quality, rivaling Bing. Less susceptible to cracking due to later season. May/June harvest. 800 hours. Pollenizer required: Van, Rainier, or Black Tartarian. Not pollenized by Bing. Pollenizer required: Interfruitful with all popular sweet cherries. May/June harvest. Zones 4-9. ***FIGS*** What is a Breba? All brebas are figs, but not all figs are brebas. Figs can have as many as three crops. The first crop which forms on the previous year s wood is called breva. These breva fruits grow below this year s new leaves, on last year s branches. The second crop or main is produced on this year s new growth, growing above this year s leaves. BLACK JACK FIG Large, purplish-brown figs with sweet, juicy, red flesh. Harvest Aug-Oct. Naturally small (semi-dwarf) tree, 15 tall and wide, may be kept at 6 tall with pruning. 100 hours. Self-fruitful. Zones BLACK MISSION FIG Purplish-black skin, strawberry- colored flesh, rich flavor. Zones VIOLETTE DE BORDEAUX FIG Small to medium size purple-black fruit with a very deep red strawberry pulp, a distinctive sweet rich flavor. Good for container culture or small spaces. Self-fruitful. 25 tall unpruned. Zones * Note: Figs are generally harvested from August November.

6 ***JUJUBES*** GA-866 JUJUBE on Jujube seedling. Newer variety of outstanding quality. Large, elongated, high sugar content; sweet apple flavor. Fresh, candied or dried. Drought resistant. Fall harvest. 150 hrs. Partly selffruitful, better with another Jujube. Zones LANG 1 ½ Pear-shaped fruits are reddish-brown, dry, wrinkled, sweet and chewy when fully ripe in early fall (best ripened on tree). Attractive, easy to grow tree; hardy, drought-resistant, virtually pest and disease free. Small, upright, slow growing, mostly thorn-less 20 tree. More of an upright grower than Li. Requires a long, hot summer. Partly self-fruitful, best pollinated by Li. Zones LI JUJUBE 2 Round-shaped fruits are larger than Lang. Reddish-brown, dry and wrinkled, sweet and chewy (like dates) when fully ripe in early fall. Can be picked yellow-green and ripen off tree. Attractive, easy to grow tree; hardy, drought-resistant, virtually pest and disease free. Requires long, hot summer. Very low chilling requirement. Partly self-fruitful, best pollinated by Lang. Zones 4-9. SHERWOOD JUJUBE Excellent tasting, firm large shiny reddish-brown date-like fruit. Sweet apple-like flavor. When candied and dried, resembles dates. Good in hot desert areas. A little taller and narrower than other varieties; weeping, upright grower with far fewer thorns than other selections. Ripens: late, mid-october (not good for areas with earlier frost). Partly self-fruitful, better with another Jujube. Zones SUGAR CANE JUJUBE Extremely sweet fruit with apple texture & flavor. Medium-sized fruit is round to elongated. Attractive shiny leaves. Spiny plant, but spines are much smaller than other jujube varieties. Tree grows x Tree is vigorous, hardy, drought-resistant, virtually pest and disease free. Requires long hot summers. Ripens in September. Partly self-fruitful, but better with another Jujube. Zones 5-9. ***KIWI S*** ALL-PURPOSE MALE KIWIFRUIT Actinidia chinensis (aka A. deliciosa). Pollenizer for Hayward female Vines. Does not bear fruit. Very vigorous vine. One male can pollenize up to eight Hayward females. 800 hours. Zones HAYWARD FEMALE KIWIFRUIT Actinidia chinensis (aka A. deliciosa). Fuzzy brown skin, bright green flesh, strawberry like flavor. Tender to frost. Hot or cool climates. 600 hours. 8 ***NECTAPLUM*** SPICE ZEE WHITE NECTAPLUM INTERSPECIFIC White fleshed, nectarine x plum. Skin is dark maroon at fruit set, and turns pale pink when ripe. Fully ripe fruit is unparalled in flavor, and both nectarine and plum traits are easily detectable. Tree is quite ornamental. This variety is moderately cold hardy. MISSION OLIVE Fruit is a large, used for table olives and olive oil production. This variety is tolerant of cold, salinity and drought. Tree is moderately resistant to olive knot. The freestone fruit produces a bitter flavor when harvested green, but matures to a complex blend of buttery and tropical flavors. Though partially self-fertile, will set fuller crops when pollinized by another olive such as Sevillano or Ascolano. PENDOLINO OLIVE This olive is used mainly as a pollenizer in Tuscany, but for landscaping, Pendolino offers many desirable characteristics such as good cold hardiness and a dense, weeping canopy. It flowers early and profusely with a long bloom, but it is self-sterile and must be paired with another variety. Though small, this olive produces a moderate amount of good quality oil with a very mild flavor, low bitterness and delicate pungency. PICUAL OLIVE This olive comes from Spain. Easy to harvest and contains a high content of easily separated oil with pungent flavor that stores well.
