27 French Language You will take a placement exam in Dijon and placed in a French class at your level. If your major has a language requirement, this class will partially fulfill the requirement. Recommended: Unless you have no prior French, you can take a before and after language test at the Murkland Language Center to test out of a semester of language. Recommended by other students: You may wish to take French 401 the fall before you go to France and finish your language requirement in France. Note: If you have had 2 or more years of French in high school, you must take French at the intermediate level to fulfill the requirement.

28 HOUSING Students have a few housing options. Apartments generally have a common kitchen, shared bath, laundry and some are women only. Students will work directly with landlords and the housing officer at Burgundy in arranging housing. Internet is variable in apartments.
