Wi Wine Sense s Limited Edition Wine Tastings just around e corner I ought I would share some pretty self-serving advice for someone who benefits from convincing people to make wine- Taste Wine! Wine is e regarded beverage it is because it can taste so amazing- and as one beverage classification (e grape being it s chief component) it has a dizzying amount of styles available and an endless array of characteristics from ose styles. Yep, sometimes you just want to sit down and drink a glass of wine- and at s a very valid way to enjoy wine. But don t forget to take e opportunity to squeeze a learning experience out of wine consumption: And at brings me to e main point of my article. Wine Sense s Selection Limited Edition Wine Tastings are a great place to Taste Wine! I have a very sentimental spot in my heart for ese tastings, because one of e first initiatives I did when I joined Winexpert was to start doing consumer tastings around our Limited Edition program. We used Wine Sense as guinea pigs. The very first Limited Edition consumer tasting was held at e Viscount Gort Hotel. As I recall ere were 46 people ere, and ey braved one of e worst torrential downpours in Manitoba history to come. Folks were literally streaming wi water when ey came in e room. But we came, we saw and we tasted. Folks had a good time and we agreed at we were on to someing. That was twelve years ago... and time flies when you're having fun. I am now presenting at Limited Edition Wine Tastings all over Canada and U.S. But my favourite is e Wine Sense Limited Edition Tastings in Winnipeg and Brandon. My presentations at is year s Tastings are going to be a little more concise. Our consumers (I m talking about you my dear readers) are so much more informed about wine an when we started doing our presentations- you don t really need me to explain as much as I once did.
