3 WELCOME ETHOS FOR LOST PROPERTY RESTAURANT We have long wanted to open a small restaurant and the opportunity arose to acquire this property on John William Street. Our Georgian food is probably the most healthy restaurant food available because of our way of cooking and the fresh ingredients used in making our dishes. We knew that the style we wished to created would be rustic in origin and incorporate different flavours from the beautiful country region east of the Black Sea. Many of our Menu choices originate from Elena s early life as a child, eating meals prepared by her Grandma and great Aunts. All our meals are prepared and cooked with passion and love in an effort to deliver to you our warmth and welcome. A meal is a great way to enjoy the friendship and company of others, be it as a couple or as a larger group. We hope that we have created a place where you can relax with friends or family, maybe share some of the food we have prepared for you and simply enjoy an evening of good interesting food in relaxing surroundings. Addendum We are now two years down the line from writing the original ethos for our restaurant and have decided not to change a thing on it. Our Ethos has remained the same. Our reasons for styling our restaurant Georgian, apart from the obvious one of Elena s origins are worthy of comment. All our recipes are based on traditional Georgian methods and can be the main reason why Georgians have the greatest longevity of any nation!! Many of our tastiest menu options are suitable for both vegetarian and vegan diets. We have made a great improvement to the drinks list with the introduction of three styles of Georgian wine. We have a dry red and a dry white together with an incredible sparkling white wine. These wines are all of top quality and from grape varieties hardly known in the west. We have created a relaxed and comfortable environment for our customers to enjoy an evening out with friends or just themselves. Once booked the table is yours for the whole evening. We can claim to be unique in that we are the only licenced Georgian restaurant in the country, outside London. Thank you for your continued support. 4 STARTERS Chicken Satsivi 6.50 Tender chicken in a traditional Georgian garlic and walnut sauce. Served with salad and Armenian bread. (V) Suluguni 5.00 Georgian cheese fried in olive oil served with salad leaves, grapes and topped with crushed walnuts. (V) Ajapsandali 6.00 A mix of roasted vegetables, aubergine, red pepper, tomatoes, onion, garlic and herbs. Savoury Cake 5.50 Tasty chicken liver and mushroom pate layered on Armenian flat bread, topped with crushed walnuts. Served with our own creamy sauce. (V) Aubergine Rolls 6.50 Grilled Aubergine rolls stuffed with toasted walnuts, herbs and garlic, served with salad and our own white sauce. (V) Marinated Olives 4.00 Marinated olives served with Armenian bread. (V) Stuffed Tomatoes 5.00 Tomatoes stuffed with mushrooms and black olives pate and served with our own creamy sauce. Pelmeni 6.00 Homemade juicy meat parcels cooked in creamy sauce, served in a clay pot with a roasted pepper salad. (V) Sauce Platter 6.00 A selection of our sauces, olives and Armenian bread (V) Hachapuri 6.00 Georgian bead with delicious cheese & herb filling. You may have this as a starter or choose it as part of a Meze to share Meze To Share (for Two) Create your own Meze Choose a sample selection of four of the above starters, served with sauce and Armenian bread.

5 MAIN COURSES Chanakhi - Georgian Style Lamb Tender chunky pieces of lamb, cooked with tomatoes, aubergines, peppers, fresh herbs and served in a clay pot with Armenian bread and golden potatoes. Chakhokhbili- Georgian Style Chicken Succulent chicken cooked in delicious combination of fresh vegetables and herbs, a touch of white wine and served in a clay pot with roasted pepper salad and Armenian bread. Shashlik Chunky pieces of Chicken or Pork, marinated in our own marinade and cooked on skewers over the charcoal grill. Served with Armenian bread, golden potatoes, salad, and homemade spicy sauce. Chicken Tapaka Hungry Bird Small Chicken marinated in fresh herbs and spices, fried in garlic sauce. Served with salad, our homemade spicy sauce and Armenian bread. Rump Steak Prime Rump steak marinated in our own marinade. Grilled over the chargrill and served with seasoned golden potatoes and salad. (V) Caucas Style Aubergines Aubergines roasted with a mix of vegetables, garlic, onions and herbs topped with cheese and served with golden potatoes and Armenian bread. Chargrilled Tiger Prawns Tiger prawns marinated in herbs and spices and grilled over the chargrill, served with delicious roasted pepper sauce, salad and seasoned golden potatoes and Armenian bread. (V) Lobio Traditional Georgian hotpot of red kidney beans combined with herbs and spices and served with Mchadi (crispy Georgian corn bread) and salad DESSERT Elena 5.00

6 WINE LIST GEORGIAN WINE SAPERAVI per bottle Dry red Georgian wine bursting with full flavours. Soft velvety tannins give a dry but full hearty and savoury taste. TSINDANDALI per bottle A fine fresh balance between its exotic, honeysuckle and peach fruit flavours. Gives a dry palate with clean and refreshing aftertaste. BAGRATIONI per bottle An absolutely amazing sparkling wine from Georgia. Dry but with slight honey overtones and a little more body and strength than typical sparkling wines. ARMENIAN BRANDY 5.00 per glass Arrat 10 year old Armenian Brandy. A perfect way to finish your meal. This special brandy has a rounded, hidden sweetish taste of beeswax, hazelnut and oak bark with traces of vanilla and dried plums WORLD WINES WHITE LOS PASTOS CHARDONNAY per bottle ml glass, ml glass, ml glass Smooth and satisfying with ripe peach and pineapple flavours and a hint of creamy richness. Chile 13.5% SIMPLICITY SAUVIGNON BLANC per bottle Tantalising ripe citrus tropical fruit flavours. Classic young, zingy, fresh and herby feel. Chile 12.5% BELLA MODELLA PINOT GRIGIO per bottle Beautifully light and high quality Pionot Grigio with a vibrant texture in the mouth and lots of citrus fruit all the way through. Italy 12%
