Discussed: Night time toileting residents must ring bell if assistance is required. Care staff who assist residents with showering to remember to tidy up the bathroom and place used towels in appropriate laundry bag. Evening shift staff to be aware of noise levels and not wake sleeping residents. Question was asked if the phones used by night shift staff can have the ring volume turned down. Issue to be discussed at next clinical meeting. Resident prefers rice rather than potato with vegetarian chickpea curry. Air conditioning units in House 6/7 (rooms facing South) heating to be checked. KLEINE CAFÉ The Heart of Rembrandt Court New Trading Hours Kleine Café will be open to the public, staff, residents and families from 10am to 1.30pm 7 days a week (except Public Holidays) Hot Food & Snacks Saturday & Sunday Quiche with Salad Vegetable Quiche served with side salad Toasted Ham & Cheese sandwich Focaccia, Sandwiches, Wraps Choose from our fresh selection on display Fresh soup of the day Served with fresh bread CAFÉ IS CLOSED MONDAY 11 JUNE Kleine Café Suggestions Suggestion Forms are available from the Café (on the counter) as well as on the back of this newsletter for staff, residents, families and visitors to fill out and let us know your ideas for the café; what would you like to see. PHONE / INTERNET SERVICE Last month a letter was sent to residents and/or family representatives with regards to the introduction of a small charge for unlimited national telephone and/or internet usage. A selection form was attached to the letter (forms are also available from Reception we can also fax or the form to you). As the charge comes in to effect on 1 July please ensure that you have made your choice and returned the form to Reception.
