Hiestand, our specialist bakery brand has been baking breads and pastries for 50 years. Drawing on the tradition of artisan baking it offers a range of baked goods that have been crafted to deliver the freshest experience possible. La Carte, our mid-market range that spans from fresh ingredients to finished meals for the food service and retail sector. The range it covers has been carefully selected to balance flavour and value, allowing us to provide a well-rounded food solution. Otis, our original American sweet bakery brand founded 40 years ago. A delicious range of freshly baked cookies, mouth-watering muffins and simply irresistible donuts.

3 Why Cuisine de France Who are we? Very simply, we are Cuisine de France and we are proud of our uniqueness and difference. In the 1980s, we set up Cuisine de France because we felt that people were looking for a traditional French Bakery experience. We went to France, found the finest flour and created delicious baguettes to an authentic, age old Parisian boulangerie recipe. Then we installed ovens in retailers across the country so that this beautiful bread could be baked fresh right there in the store. Suddenly your local shop could smell like heaven and everyone could experience authentic French bread, fresh from the oven. We had brought democracy to daily bread. Great baking turns a moment into an occasion. Families gather round the table, they tear and share, they slice and unravel, whether in work or at home... the laptops stay closed, the phones stay where they are. Even in a service station, the engine stays off for a special pastry, for that moment that s just for you and you alone. 6 IT ALL BEGAN WITH THE UNFORGETTABLY SWEET SCENT OF COOKIES, FRESH FROM THE OVEN... One day in 1976, Ken Rawlings, the original founder of Otis sniffed a scent that would change the course of his, and all sweet treat lovers, lives forever...the wonderfully sweet smell of freshly baked cookies wafting through the air in a California shopping mall. From that day forward, Ken was inspired. A daring visionary, he immediately set the wheels in motion to create a brand that could bring a little bit of fresh baked sweetness into the daily lives of all, young and old. And so, Ken was in the cookie business! By 1977, Otis opened its doors to the Californian public, soon to become an American classic, and ultimately, an international favourite WHIFF OF GENIUS Ken Rawlings gets the idea to start a fresh baked cookie business when he smells cookies baking in a California mall with Stewart Podell HELLO OTIS! Otis Spunkmeyer opens its first store in Oakland, California under the name The Original Cookie Company. It is very successful in its first year. Between 77 and 81 multiple stores are opened. The company is then renamed Otis Spunkmeyer by Ken s 12 year old daughter Kimberly WHOLLY WHOLESALE Ken decides to evolve the company into the manufacturing of high quality wholesale products for the foodservice industries DOING IT ALL Otis Spunkmeyer develops an innovative full-service solution for customers, providing custom designed ovens that would bake Otis cookies to perfection, displays, promotional items, distribution vehicles, and most importantly, delicious products. Otis is the first company of its kind to provide a solution like this for foodservice customers BIG HEARTED Otis Spunkmeyer develops an impressive culture of Corporate Social Responsibility. Ken was well known for being a visionary spirit with a big heart. Otis ran programmes for staff members to quit smoking, developed student motivational programmes, started the Otis Spunkmeyer Foundation, and they even had a vintage DC-3 plane that would bring staff and tourists on tours of the California Bay area! 1990 MUFFINCREDIBLE! Otis acquires the Sweet Happenings muffin company, hires the founders, and becomes the very first brand to offer frozen muffins to foodservice customers NEW FRIENDS Otis joins the Aryzta family and begins plans to bring their special brand of sweetness to the rest of the world WORLD FAMOUS Otis Spunkmeyer goes international! Otis launches in Europe with an exciting range of baked goods that encapsulate the spirit of their American heritage and their reputation as one of the U.S. s best loved brands. 4
