2 FROM SMALL BEGINNINGS We are Alan & Valerie Kingston, farmers and owners of Glenilen Farm. Based in Drimoleague in West Cork, Ireland we use the milk of our own herd of cows along with that of our neighbouring farms to make really good yoghurt and dairy products. Alan s family has been farming for generations and in 1997 we started making yoghurt and selling it at farmers markets in our locality. 3 WE MAKE GOOD YOGHURT We like to keep things simple and so our yoghurt reflects this. We make natural yoghurt with cultures which give a unique fresh taste that our customers love. In our fruit yoghurts we simply use as much fruit as possible and just a little sugar to taste. Our Raspberry yoghurt was one of the first flavours we sold and this still continues to be the favourite amongst our loyal fans. SIMPLY YOGHURT...

4 THERE IS SOMETHING SPECIAL ABOUT IRISH BUTTER We love our butter especially spread on Val s homemade brown soda bread! Our cows are grass fed and so produce a rich, yellow butter to which we add a little salt. STORE CUPBOARD INGREDIENTS ARE THE BASIS FOR ALL WE DO One of the first ever products we made in our kitchen was our lemon cheesecake. Made with our own quark, cream and yoghurt it is pure simplicity. We now have a range of flavours in our cheesecake chest along with other dairy desserts such as Panna Cotta and Chocolate Mousse.

At Glenilen Farm our team are dedicated to clean simple food bringing authentic farmhouse taste from our farm to your table with honesty and transparency. Subconsciously we were brought up this way, it was normal to practice sustainability and social responsibility and our mission is to carry them on, to value and hold dear what s good and right. Like never before we are conscious of depleting resources. We are aware we need to change and are learning how to do it. Our diverse sustainability projects are innovative and exciting. Solar energy production, heat recovery and rainwater harvesting are simple but effective. We have learned again about our social responsibility, it is better to give than receive.
