BUFFALO CHIP SALOON AND STEAKHOUSE It all started in 1951; the now famous Buffalo Chip Saloon has come a long way since its humble beginnings as a feed and bait shop along the way to Bartlett and Horseshoe Lakes. The original building was only 800 square feet on about 2/3rds of an acre. EL ENCANTO El Encanto is a romantic Old-World Mission-style restaurant cradled in the heart of Cave Creek. ROARING FORK Enjoy this American Western Bistro and Saloon where the spirit of Western American is captured and celebrated. MAIZIE S Uptown s newest urban restaurant, located on Central Avenue just south of Camelback, Maizie s offers lunch and dinner Monday through Friday. ROKERIJ Rokerij, Dutch for smokehouse is a snazzy restaurant located in Phoenix. The upstairs is newly remodeled and now looks as smart as any place in town, but it's still dark enough to keep things dreamy. Downstairs the couches in front of the fireplace are the perfect place for a nightcap or any one of the Rokerij's excellent small plates. Service is attentive, extremely polite and very knowledgeable. The owner, Vincent Guerithault, was one of the first chefs to introduce southwestern ingredients into a classical French menu.
