A fee is required. Customers pay at the charging station with a credit card. Customers can obtain a free Blink membership at Level II stations are installed and ready for customers to use at five turnpike service plazas: Oakmont Plum, New Stanton, Bowmansville, Peter J. Camiel and King of Prussia. Level III EV charging stations are also available at Bowmansville, Peter J. Camiel and King of Prussia. Compressed Natural Gas Station Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) is a readily available alternative to gasoline that s made by compressing natural gas to less than 1% of its volume at standard atmospheric pressure. Consisting mostly of methane, CNG is odorless, colorless and tasteless. It's drawn from domestically drilled natural gas wells or in conjunction with crude oil production. A CNG station is installed at the New Stanton service plaza. Page 24

25 Public Safety Automated External Defibrillator An automated external defibrillator or AED is a portable electronic device that automatically diagnoses the potentially life threatening cardiac arrhythmias of ventricular fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia in a patient, and is able to treat them through defibrillation, the application of electrical therapy which stops the arrhythmia, allowing the heart to reestablish an effective rhythm. AEDs are designed to be simple to use for the layman, and the use of AEDs is taught in many first aid, first responder and basic life support (BLS) level CPR classes. An automated external defibrillator (AED) is available at all Pennsylvania Turnpike service plazas. In an emergency, look for the sign at left to locate the AED. Page 25
