1 MAJESTIC ALASKA Day 1 Arrival Whittier Your English speaking private driver/guide will pick your party up at the Whittier Cruise Ship Terminal for your transfer to Anchorage, Alaska. Enroute you will make a stop in Girdwood, Alaska. Once in Girdwood, enjoy a seven-minute scenic ride from The Hotel Alyeska to 2,300 ftin elevation and the top of Mt. Alyeska on the Alyeska Aerial Tram. From the Tram, you can see miles in all directions including views of the TurnagainArm, up to seven hanging glaciers and endless peaks deep into the Chugach Mountain range. At the Upper Tram Terminal, there is an observation deck providing even more breath-taking panoramic views of majestic mountains, hanging glaciers, sparkling streams, towering spruce, and an array of wildlife. Choose to have lunch on your own in Girdwood or once you arrive in Anchorage. Upon your arrival into Anchorage a stop will be made at Earthquake Park and Lake Hood, Alaska s largest seaplane base. Your Anchorage overnight stay will be at the Sheraton Anchorage. The Sheraton Anchorage Hotel & Spa boasts the finest lodging in the city and is moments from downtown Anchorage's best restaurants, museums, and attractions, while still being located in the heart of the great Alaskan Wilderness. 2 LAKE HOOD SEAPLANE BASE Day 2 Anchorage/Wasilla/Talkeetna After breakfast at the Sheraton Anchorage your private driver/guide will take you to the Alaska Zoo to see Alaskan animals up close. The Alaska Zoo sits on 25 acres of the Anchorage Hillside. It is a popular attraction in Alaska, with nearly 200,000 visitors per year. Next you will depart Anchorage and head North to Wasilla, Alaska where you will visit the Iditarod Trail Headquarters. This is a great place to stop in and learn about the historic race. There s a museum, gift shop, and, during the summer months option sled dog rides available if the dogs are at the headquarters and space is available. After Wasilla you will continue your drive North to the historic town of Talkeetna -an Indian word meaning "river of plenty" only 113 miles north of the metropolitan city of Anchorage, at the point where the Talkeetna and the Chulitna Rivers join the Susitna River. Choose to have lunch on your own in Wasilla or in route to Talkeetna. Your Talkeetna overnight stay will be at the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge. Set on a ridge above the small community of Talkeetna on the south side of Mt. McKinley, this lodge offers unforgettable views of Denali and the Alaska Range. Enjoy the view as you relax next to the 46-foot river rock fireplace or shop for Native art from villages across Alaska. Your Mountain Side rooms are located in the main lodge and have interior entrances. These rooms have north-facing views towards Denali and the Alaska Range. 3 Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge Day 3 Talkeetna/Denali After breakfast your driver/guide will take you to the Talkeetna Rail Depot where you will board the Goldstar Rail Car for your journey to Denali. GoldStarguests ride in the first passenger cars for the best views on the train. Your dome-level reclining seats can rotate to accommodate groups of four and let you share the experience with friends. A full-time bar attendant is available to those looking for libations. This rail car also has a private outdoor viewing deck -the only one of its kind! Dine in comfort in 36 dining room seats with views through picture windows. Meals Included on the Talkeenta to Denali GoldStar Service include lunch featuring soup, entrée, beverages and gratuity. The all-inclusive dining service also includes two adult beverages per trip and unlimited soft beverages. Additional adult beverages are available for purchase. Trains are now cashless. Any purchases may be made with any card bearing an American Express, Discover, MasterCard, or Visa brand logo. This includes debit and gift cards. Upon your arrival at the Denali Rail Depot your driver/guide will be waiting to take you to the Denali Visitor Center.The center offers visitors a chance to learn more about the park by speaking with park rangers, viewing the park film, "Heartbeats of Denali," and exploring an exhibit area. Your Denali overnight stay will be at the Grande Denali Lodge. The Grande Denali Lodge brings you genuine Alaskan hospitality, inviting accommodations and spectacular views! Located above the hustle of the highway, on Sugarloaf Mountain this property is designed with comfort and convenience in mind. Your first stop is the main lodge, where you will experience warm log architecture with a rock fireplace and vaulted ceilings. The interior design highlights the Alaska Native Heritage of its owners while offering panoramic views of the surrounding Denali wilderness and the Nenana River canyon.

4 You'll find the lodge is a very special place where you can truly relax, meet friends, share a meal, or simply take in the beauty all around you. The View Rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a view of the canyon. A great place to relax and recharge for your next Denali experience. The Denali Lodge has laundry facilities on the first level. Room amenities include: cable television, featuring the Alaska Channel, telephone, coffee/tea station, desk and chair, hair dryer, iron/ironing board and air conditioning. Wi-Fi is available in the lobby. This evening a dinner at the Grande Denali Lodges Alpenglow Restaurant is included. Group dinner menu includes choice of non-alcoholic drink, choice of cup of daily soup or salad, entrée, dessert and gratuity. Entrée Options to Include Choice of Steak, Chicken, Or Seafood Entrée. The Grande Denali Lodge will strive to accommodate any reasonable dietary needs and requests within the realistic timeframe dependent on product availability and production capacity. 5 Day 4 Denali After breakfast at the Grande Denali Lodge you will board a tour bus for the Tundra Wilderness Trails Tour. This tour travels 53 miles into the park (one way) to the Toklat River rest area. Incredible scenery, a narrated history of the park road and some of the best opportunities to view the park's wildlife inhabitants await you on this tour. The Tundra Wilderness Tour will guide you along a spectacular road corridor, promising different experiences every day, as Denali's wildlife moves at its own pace and according to the seasons. A full view of Mt. Denali (McKinley) is a rare treat in Denali National Park and Preserve, and when visible, your tour will continue beyond the Toklat rest area to Stony Hill Overlook to provide truly awe-inspiring views of North America's highest peak (the Stony Hill Overlook option is not available prior to June 1st due to Denali National Park and Preserve Road conditions). The Tundra Wilderness Tour offers the Traveling 53 miles into the park (one way) to the Toklat River rest area, the Tundra Wilderness Tour offers a wonderful diversity for visitors. Incredible scenery, a narrated history of the park road and some of the best opportunities to view the park's wildlife inhabitants await you on this tour. Morning tours depart between 5:00 am and 9:00 am. Please note: Exact departure times are not guaranteed and are based on availability -it is possible to be ticketed for any time during the departure window. Tour times and pickup locations are assigned approximately 48 hours prior to actual tour date. Your actual pickup location may vary, please reconfirm this tour upon your arrival into Denali. Tour length is 6 to 8 hours.tour is on an upgraded bus similar in style to a coach. Tour stops approximately every 90 minutes for a restroom break. A snack boxed lunch and beverages are provided on this tour. We suggest you bring additional items to eat and drink as there are no concessions available in the wilderness of Denali National Park. Your driver/guide is available to assist you if you wish to purchase additional food items for this tour. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure. Overnight at the Grande Denali Lodge. 6 Day 5 Denali/Fairbanks After breakfast you will depart for Fairbanks, Alaska. A stop enroutewill be made at the Nenana Rest Area. Once in Fairbanks a stop for lunch on your own will be made. After lunch climb aboard the Riverboat Discovery. Cruise the great rivers of Alaska! This three-hour cruise will take you into the heart of Alaska and introduce you to a family who has made the rivers of Alaska a way of life for five generations. The Binkley family invites you to experience a slice of Alaskan life! This is more than just a boat ride. The Sternwheeler Riverboat Discovery is one of the most unique Alaskan experiences available. Your next stop will be the University of Alaska Museum of the North. Explore Alaska Native cultures, natural wonders, and diverse wildlife. Experience 2,000 years of Alaska art. For dinner you will enjoy a meal at the Alaska Salmon Bake. Your salmon is fire cooked on an open wood grill while the Prime Rib is slow roasted. Don't forget to try the Bering Sea Cod direct from icy Alaskan waters and beer battered to perfection. Dinner includes all you care to eat salad bar, baked beans, rolls, dessert, and beverages. A focal point of Pike's Waterfront Lodge is their stunning art collection, unique among Alaskan hotels. The art collection focuses on Alaskan subjects by Alaskan artists, and is constantly changing. Many of the pieces are museum quality and several have been shown nationally in touring art shows. Day 6 Fairbanks After breakfast at Pike s Waterfront Lodge your driver/guide will transfer you to the airport for your morning departure flight where your tour will come to an end.
