7 Reviews Hotel Lounge Our 1 st Aid Course went so well and we thoroughly enjoyed holding it at Alveston House Hotel! The staff were so friendly and helpful, the food and refreshments fresh and plentiful. We really found the day value for money. The Garden Suite was perfect for our needs as we had plenty of room. The thing we liked the most was the peace and quiet we had being tucked away in the Garden Suite, we weren t bothered once. We have tried most venues within the Thornbury vicinity and I can honestly say that Alveston House have won hands down! Next time we run a course I will be contacting you. The hotel accommodated very professionally for over 40 people and ensured the event went very smoothly. The conference had extra attendees turn up unexpectedly and even this didn t faze the hotel so I was very, very impressed. The facilities are excellent and the food at lunchtime was just right. Extremely tasty with an excellent variety of food to suit all tastes. I will definitely return to this venue and will also enquire about hosting a private party in the future. It s well situated for people coming from London, Wales and the Midlands with easy parking. The food is always gorgeous but above all the service is exemplary.
